I was thinking the same thing, and if we're going on star wars, then the blimp would be a cross between the Mon Call sleek and aerodynamic feel of their star ships, and the deployment of the Imperial (and also Republic) star destroyer classes (that had hanger bays).

That quote always bugged me, since that first sentence is just...a grammatically correct English sentence. Seperatist droids (particularly the B1's ) were apparently purposely build flimsy with the idea that either they worked as intended or they didn't work at all. In Star Wars droids who don't get their memory wiped every so often start developing personalities so if say a B1 gets damaged but not destroyed then he could (and this actually happened several times in the extended universe) become self-aware enough to desert from their post.
