I fasted social media for my Daniel Fast one year and still haven't went back. I realized that I did a lot of mindless scrolling and sometimes compared myself to others, which affected my mental health. One of the best decisions ever.

So important to tune into what we like outside of social media.

Yes, I too have deleted everything but KZfaq. I enjoy the information and motivation KZfaq offers. Without plunging unwanted content, I am able to only watch what interest me and is helpful to my mental and spiritual growth.

I’m glad you said this. I feel this way as well and I am seriously considering getting off of all social media. I don’t need it I think it’s just an addiction for most people now

I get what you mean. My opinions for the most part was not agreed with. I stopped sharing my opinions on Facebook. I just post stories now and share local news stories. & sometimes Instagram makes me feel so down about being n a single mom, like I’m missing out on all the goals and dreams I once had.

Good for you. I left Facebook years ago..never looked back..I had the worst anxiety and FOMO. It helped me and my family in the long run because they don’t feel a need for it either.

I didn't get on social media until after I graduated high school and life was sooo simple then. I've taken breaks but you might be on to something by deleting social media. If I'm by myself I'm on my phone too bcuz I felt awkward.

I agree with this entire video. I was the same way with Facebook (minus the debating) I deactivated during Covid because of all of the Covid/political arguments, depressing stuff, I needed a mental break…I just reactivated last month and I regret it, it’s even more depressing on there now😫 I don’t really have anything else to post about on there because I don’t care and I trained myself not to post (because I used to over share) I think I’m truly sick of social media now

Really inspiring video. I stopped using Twitter, Facebook and Instagram in the summer and I don't really miss it. I am a UK KZfaqr and still have been getting an equal amount of video views, likes, comments- and sometimes even more - without promoting on the socials. I guess if we can get the thumbnails, video titles etc spot on, we can then let KZfaq do the promoting! I mean they want people to watch videos so I'm trying to get them to work for me more. Interestingly, only one person across all my social media 'friends/followers' has tried to contact me since I left the platforms. That's very telling isn't it! Last Year in December 2022 I deleted Instagram and this year I deleted Facebook 2023 I don't want to focus on mainstream social media platforms or Mainline social media platforms and I'm focusing more on Pinterest and KZfaq that it I love my new life without being on social media platforms it worth it because there taking our data and use it for IDK what but I love it keep up good work 💯💪🏿🙌🏿 my friend in Jesus name God bless yours in Christ brother Mychael Griffin
