Hey Lango. The voices you hear are an app I use alongside iRacing called Crew Chief. It's helpful because I use a single monitor setup, meaning I can't see cars to the left and right. It's also useful for finding out my opponent's lap times, distance from me and track info. Very useful. Thanks for commenting.

Exactly how do you get into Simracing? It looks like something I would find really fun to do

Hi S3r0. I highly recommend checking out some KZfaq videos on getting into sim racing first to give you an idea of what sim games, hardware, and how much you want to spend on it (it can get expensive). It can be overwhelming if you haven't done it before, but once you learn and get the hang of it, it's a lot of fun. If you decide on what game you want to try first, I suggest buying second-hand racing hardware because if you decide it's not for you, you can resell it for minimal loss. This option also works if you like it and want to sell your hardware to upgrade.
