God bless Ms. Barbara!! Karamo was right, it’s ppl like her that make the world better. She didn’t have to take on the responsibility of raising her sisters child. But she did and stuck with her through the hardest times. Love is strong and powerful. Always remember things could ALWAYS be worse. Be grateful for the family and support you have on this world. Nothing or no one is owed to us. We’re not entitled to anything. We only have expectations and some ppl don’t live up to their expectations but it’s ppl like Ms. Barbara who step up and fulfill that role with love. She may not be perfect but she kept her neice and raised her and continues to support her despite anything else. She acknowledges and understands her trauma while also holding her responsible for her actions. That’s why she’s present in her child’s life. Ayanna also shows strength. I can’t imagine the pain of growing up with your parent in prison and trying to understand the separation at such a young age. If you see this message just know you should be proud of yourself and continue to overcome any obstacle in life.

It’s not the worst thing that can happen to someone. I did the exact same thing because my mother was very similar. By 18 I was married. Not only obtain my bachelors for my masters as well. I make almost 200 K per year. With the support she has now… She’ll be fine.

@@CMichelleWhite I did say anything about it being the worst thing in the world I’ve had 2 sisters pregnant at 17 one niece pregnant at 17 and one great niece pregnant at 15 while we all love the nieces and great niece and great great nephew. Being happy about a 15 year old being pregnant is still not joyful news.

Good for you Ayana! There is a light in her that was dramatically different on her first episode. This update reminds me of when I was a young mother. So happy for her and her aunt!!!
