This video slapped, it was extra insightful. I really liked that bit you talked about each person having their own "natural instinct" for how the game should be played and how you've got to work your playstyle towards "what feels right to you". The one thing that I highly respect is when pro players think deeply about the game. It's super cool to see you develop your own philosophy and perspective towards the game, and to be able to hear you talk about it is so phenomenal!

@@dvdr0658 they were not neccessarily mistakes, squishy mentions that there are times that fearless challenged where squishy would never challenged. its something different from what you usually see in high level ones. that doesn't make it wrong nor is it defined as a mistake. you cannot claim that he isn't a good player, you heard squishy himself say that this guy beat several top ones players in NA so he is definitely a good player. open your mind up a little more and stop being so bias :)

Fearless has mastered the playstyle of a high SSL. The only reason why Squishy didn’t understand some of his aggression is because pros are much more clinical in their challenges. However, Fearless and most other SSL’s just play as fast as possible. It’s just the difference between SSL and pro.

Squishy’s videos are so so so good to watch for anyone that needs to improve imo I think he’s the perfect kind of player to model ur game after. He’s versatile in that he can change his game to fit any opponent/teammate, he can be mechanical when necessary but doesn’t force mechanical plays every time he’s always looking for the most optimal play to benefit himself/the team. In his videos he doesn’t get titled (ignore his streams lmao) and he’s always playing looking to improve, and thinking about what went wrong when he concedes/loses and thinks about what went well when he wins/scores

Individual play styles is why 1s is so compelling to watch. 3s is great but in this day and age, there's so little room to navigate, sometimes it feels like you're watching a coin flip simulator. In 1s, there's so much room stylistically and it makes for a very entertaining watch. Great call out to try to recognize your own play style and use it to your advantage.

Question, To make a clean turn using powerslide are you supposed to let go of the drive button or hood drive while powersliding?!

if your doing a 180 yes let go of the gas, if your power sliding for a hit then hit the gas to get to the hit on ball in timemore power with a lil gas when you hit the ball power sliding

Tap the drift button. You don't need to let go of gas. You really don't want to be doing a "drift" turn where you lose traction. It's very slow

@@jaycraw6500 a good exercise is to go into freeplay and drive full speed connecting the pennies. Make sharp powerslide turns on the pennies and dart off towards another one
