i'm thinking the reason the Alatreon fight was so quick was because the quest is supposed to be "Repel X" rather than "Slay X" and that if you had gotten Alatreon at any other point it would have been much... much harder.

this game amuses me by how you don't know when the monster has 1 hp left, i threw a stone at a raging brachydios and it suddenly died, the shara ishavlda boss fight ended with it hitting the wall

My first Shara and Alatreon died from the clutch claw. Never had i felt a moment so anticlimactic.

You can do this on purpose! Monsters are immortal during certain animations, like turf wars. So you can get them close to death, trigger an animation somehow, then deal a ton of damage. The monster will go down to 1hp, and you can officially say you kicked fatalis to death 🤣

I finished Namielle with a Dragon Pod. It was flying way out of my reach I just made it crash down very anti-climactially.

As a bow main, my favorites are when I shoot a Dragon Piercer at the monster and the first hit is what kills it, so you just get a 3 second clip of the arrow itself shooting through the monster as it dies

Everytime i see WI gameplay i wonder who tf are the monster hitting lol followed by wacky hitboxes I loved the randomizer though. The blood and fire Alatreom Targeryan was a fun theme.

I have a lot of issues playing in the IB dlc. I can't find groups and my armor and weapons are essentially early game stuff, because i just CANNOT figure out how to progress it. Yes i know, grind monsters but that's hard to do when the one i need doesn't spawn. can't find quests with my target monsters either :/
