At the Department Store of every mall in the Philippines theres is always a section that sells karaoke machines. If there are no customers a salesperson from that store would grab the mic and sing songs. 80-90% in my estimate are good enough to join national singing competitions.

if a pinoy is not chatty, it can mean that he's shy or is just intimidated to speak in English or they just simply don't know what to say or talk about. and maybe, they don't wanna assume that the passenger, especially a foreigner would be interested to have a conversation with them.

Those Grab drivers were shy, Ovela. We Filipinos understand English, but some of us can’t speak it fluently. We are used to being belittled when our grammar is wrong, so some of us just prefer not to speak at all.

Pianos intended for the interested public to play their favorite musical pieces are also found even in select hospital lobbies like The Asian Hospital and Medical Center in Alabang. With the hospital's management encouraging their patients to get good healing process, enabling them to get well sooner through live piano music. And this really works!

yes there are a lot of malls that have piano for those interested to play and most pianist take the opportunity to play a grand piano ...what they probably got may be just an ordinary electric organ

I use Grab a lot and talk a lot with my drivers. I think it's just lack of comfort in the ENGLISH language. It's hilarious the stuff we talk about from childhood memories to politics. Well taxi drivers too haha. I'm glad you had a fun time Ovela 🥰

I got curious about the piano piece he played which sounded familiar, possibly a song from the 2002 "Winter Sonata" Korean movie soundtrack translated as "The Love I Cannot Send," at a slightly faster tempo, if I am not mistaken, but I can be wrong though. Thanks to your channel for keeping me attuned to what is going on there in the Philippines. ☺

Wow I went to SM Aura too before my flight back to Kuwait 🇰🇼 i meet only 3 of my favorite vloggers. I stayed most of the time In Berjaya Hotel in Makati bcoz they served Halal foods and many selections for their breakfast buffet.
