need to rewatch the second one before I agree but, i definitely agree that Day One wasn’t better than the first film, honestly the ending ruins it for me

@davidhardin2856 IMO no because they showed the weakness to the monster in the first movie which ruins almost all tension and makes the suspense feel forced in the sequel. They really used the hearing aid to defeat it but left the rest of them in the basement at the first house it doesn't really make any sense and makes almost any interaction with them theronafter forced or unnecessary.

2:03 the Death Angels were attracted to the sound, that’s why Lee stopped the sound || 2:07 the Death Angels were also attracted to that sound, they had to get there at first and they killed them, this isn’t dumb at all || 2:48 this isn’t that silly because it’s just for him to remember(just like how people like journaling), also for the reason you said but it isn’t THAT silly || 3:15 she probably just forgot because she is in labor at this moment, she would not remember that there is a nail sticking up, also she was not looking at the steps because, why would she have to || 3:19 he didn’t hear it, I am pretty sure that the audience also can’t hear it until the camera goes close to it || 3:25 they use solar panels || yw for all of these answers 🫶🏼

I think a very large reason why the Angels are more threatening because they are never killed by a person. Only one alien dies and that’s because it killed itself. The very first reveal of the alien behind the taxi is absolutely terrifying.
