Putting Gwynbleidd in Azz tier is disrespect I will not abide. Once your build is off the ground it's better than most others due to it's special effect.

Not sure what you mean with Gwynbleidd and Black unicorn being GOG exclusive? i bought the bundle on Steam and had both of them in my stash at the start of the game. Was under the impression the only pre-requisit was having Phantom Liberty installed as the blades were introduced with that DLC & having Witcher 3 linked on the same account in the case of Gwynbleidd

The Gwynbledd should be in B tier based off look. The Satori should be in S+ is just so nice to use with the throwing knife.

The optical camo can be improved by upgrading it which is easy and cheap you just have to take the upgrade that lowers the cool down time but also reduces you're armor at the same time or if you get lucky it'll lower something else thats less important

Nice video Ian, planning to run another new game with your tiers in mind. So listen like I know every choom and their input are dissing on Mantis Blades seeing as they aren't as effective as the other arms cyberware in 2.1 but can you do a Tier list for them as well? Im planning a Jack of All Trades build that occupies all weapons slots and having the arms one for melee mainly the mantis blades haha. Salamat.

Without a doubt, Tsumetogi is the best for the very reason you put katanas with Camo dependent effects so low. It's the one katana that doesnt rely on any cyberware, kills, weapon synergy or elemental effects. On top of that, none of the other katanas can reach its damage output. Even without nonstandard attacks. Its even the last sword you get and its effect rewards those that took time to learn how to use nonstandard strikes in open combat. It benefits the most from any damage buffs like Fury or Dense Marrow. Byakko would be second but as its effect doesnt work that well against Maxtac and bosses since it relies on low hp enemies to get the attack speed. Also, you usually run out of stamina fast which lowers your damage. Though you're putting out more attacks youre doing way less damage. Jinchu Maru is definitely second imo. Though its effect is Camo dependent, the damage amp on skull enemies makes it the only other katana that can amp its damage above Crit hits whr it counts. Another katana that rewards those who learned how to use katanas, exploit the Camo perks, and figured out the loop for it. With the proper perks its basically a secondary OS. Scalpel is the one thats overrated imo. The effect only giving Crit chance is rendered obsolete by mid to late game. Thats why its one of the first you can get. Even having more Shock chance than Tsumetogi doesnt help since Tsumetogi buffs your electric damage by 10%. A shock enhanced, nonstandard attack with Tsumetogi is the most damage you can do in one hit. Satori is by far the most slept on. Though I get why, I believe many will appreciate it more if they understood the Pistol, Throwing Knife, Katana(in that order) and Projectile Launch System weapon combo. The Satori and Nehan pair facilitates Pride in open combat since you need around 80% health to benefit from its increased headshot damage. Not only is Pride, Nehan, and Satori op against Maxtac, its also really fun to use as well. Being able to ignore defense is quite a liberating feeling. Add on the Optical Camo loop and you're in for a ball. Its crazy how many people sleep on outfitting Optical Camo with the right perks and Cyberware. Especially mixed with the weapon combo I mentioned. I'll make a video soon going more in-depth about its and the weapon combo.

They need to add a katanna that gets fully engulfed with electricity flowing through it and it does electrical damage. Also duel wield katanna, before 2.0 there is a katanna u can get from a tyger claw member that has electricity running through it but has no electrical damage.
