I have been suffering from a cold for the past week so my voice may sound a little weird in this video, I also broke my headphones and have been using bad-quality ones until I can get new ones, so I can't quite tell if the audio is any good or not haha, anyways I thought it would be fun to over analyse these silly Pokemon dances :)

Mudkup getting ranked above poplio shows a clear bias from the judge

Mudkip is so cute 😭 I may have had a moment of weakness and shown bias but I wont apologise!! Although I will admit Popplio deserved to be up in perfection tier with him this was an oversight on my part

The one time Popplio puts their absolute heart and soul into something and they get snubbed out by Mudkip for simply existing and radiating his immaculate vibes It was rigged from the start

I know piplup's performance was a bit underwhelming but u have to consider the choreo from "piplup step" really confused him

While I do think Quaxly got shafted here, I think it's a good ranking all-around. I would offset the Quaxly choice by bumping Litten up to "Tried Their Best" considering Litten's general disposition and the fact that they do keep the beat somewhat with their tail.

i was gonna talk about quaxly and im happy to others agreed. quaxly not only stayed with the beat did the pokedance but he also added his own flare to it. when we meet him he even does a little hair flip. justice for quaxly

Ok, you did quaxly SO, SOOO DIRTY in this tier list. He had such a good dance, you physically don’t have the right to put it below incredible. Wow. Not judging btw, just a bit disappointed. Edit: one last point as well, you gonna give quaxly disappointing but you gonna give treeko good when he might as well have stood still.

Grass types: tries their best to fit with their trainer, with mixed results Fire types: either give their absolute everything into an eccentric performance, or giving us nothing Water types: marching into the bears of their own drum, whether they are in time or even dancing is another matter

i put together a fantasy team based on who i thought was the best dancers. i settled on squirtle, totodile, chespin, popplio, scorbunny and quaxly. i realize most of them are water types

My favs: Grass - Turtwig, luv his energy, tho Groaky is close 👌 Fire - Scorbuny, he’s bringing the heat and energy that the other fires just don’t 😆 Water - Quaxly, dramatic, camp, beautiful, amazing, 10 outta 10, gives it all, absolutely serving ✨ Gen - 8, same reason as you, they’re just such good friends 😁

um, i think sprig just got distracted by it's own tail... and what are you talking about? fuecoco was a bit slower than the human dancing with them and quaxly's pace and personal flare doesnt belong anywhere near the disappointing tier. are you intentionally being bias about the derpiest pokemon in the video?
