Okay, I'm not gonna lie... Equal Dragon Weapon's wording was so egregious that I had to fix it. This is its effect written in current rules syntax. Somehow the text of the original was SO BAD that I managed to shave 20+ words off of it AND fix the grammatical and rules errors... good lord that card was written horrendously At the beginning of your upkeep, you may sacrifice a creature or pay {{4}}. When you do, put a +1/+1 counter on {{cardname}}. If you don't, sacrifice {{cardname}}. Sacrifice at least 5 creatures: destroy all other creatures.

I think Deimos is a neat concept. It'd make more sense if his abilities were: Vigilance Deimos, the self crowned is unaffected by the legend rule. [Whatever mana cost][tap]: put a Deimos counter on target non-legendary creature. That creature becomes a copy of 'Deimos, the uncrowned' and loses all other types and abilities. I would also add "Whenever a non-token enchantment would be put on this creature, you may copy it to all other 'Deimos, the self crowned' under your control." He'd make for a fun infectious type of commander deck.

The point behind Asura, Avatar of Wrath is you discard him, and then use his unearth cost the bring him into the battlefield for 3 red. However, with unearth you immediately sac and exile it at the end of your turn. But because of Asura's ability "If it would be put into exile from anywhere, put it into its owner's graveyard" means that you effectively have a creature that is constantly bouncing from the battlefield to the graveyard an unlimited amount of times.

The fun thing about Sliver Spy is that it would be interaction layer hell, and I _think_ that if you play Maskwood Nexus, then Sliver Spy, then Sliver Hivelord, you’ve got a bomb that blows up your opponent’s board (bonus points for Kormus Bell) but leaves yours alive, provided you can survive the damage.

Ooh, nice, my card (Poisoning the Well) got A-tier, I'm happy. Everyone's cards were interesting, especially those that were overcomplicated. Theirs are way too creative for their own good, they attempted to cram as many mechanic as they could in a single card.

The equal dragon weapon is from an old concept art book from the monster hunter series. It's a giant dragon created from dead dragon parts by the ancient civilization. I was not expecting obscure references in this video.

I think you didn't understand Ovvi, Immatieralist Prime correctly. If you just play creatures with flash, those cards gain Draw a card and lose 1 life. They are instant spells, but they are Creature+Instant spells so they are NOT noncreature spells, so you wouldn't discard a card. For the card "Friends are Advantages" you still need to pay for the creature, so I don't think the second ability is as broken as you make it out to be. "Unfurling Fields" completely matches the color pie, because one of the aspects of white is equality. "If enemy gets to do something awesome, you get to do something awesome."

"Unfurling Fields": While green searches for basic lands, white actually fairly often searches for basic plains.

Titanoth, Wild Rancor is just a combination of the abilities of Magus Lucea Kane (first ability) and Zaxara, the Exemplary (second ability). The only things that changed are that it has riot, it's colors, the name of the first ability, and the second ability got a name and now only works if you copy something

Friends are advantages says only that you may cast a card from your graveyard, you still have to pay the casting cost for that card. So blisterpod costs effectivly two mana to cast and makes only one and with the altar you gotta sacrifice two creatures to get one. So you need parallel lives or something to go infinite

@4:00 I believe the intended effect was that if you defeat the suspected opponent that turn, you get to investigate. However, it lacks a trigger clause to remove the suspect status from opponents such as "At the beginning of your upkeep, if Leberhart is in the command zone or on the battlefield, target opponent chosen at random becomes a suspect until the beginning of your next upkeep." Therefore once a player becomes a suspect, the status is never removed due to the wording of the card. As a result, so long as you are using Leberhart as your Commander, theoretically after a few turns his investigate effect will never trigger.

I will have to say that you gave Unfurling Fields at 7:56 a bit of an unfair rating because, just like all white ramp to ever exist, it relies on your opponents playing lands as well, and a bit more white ramp wouldn't be a bad idea with how expensive any form of white ramp is nowadays such as Smothering Tithe and Land Tax.

You are confusing alternate costs with abilities that put a creature into play from the Command Zone without casting them such as Derevi's ability, the Commander Ninjustsu from Yuriko, etc. A similar example would be the ability Dash which is also an alternate casting cost and there are Commander's with Dash that you can play with and they do increase in cost when you Dash them from the Command Zone.

Marks the Spot is an interesting card, With some retweaking it could legit be a really good pirate tribal enchantment and the colours is great for an Admiral Beckett Brass deck as it's ramp in Izzet colours.

I think heat current is a great card honestly. It's like Unsummon with some interesting play around how it works. Fading hope (?) lets you scry 1 depending on target, the only thing that's really strong here is popping 4 damage on a planeswalker right before turn change.

Even if they were activated abilities, there is no reason for X to not be zero for the green ability, and not ending at end of turn is even more powerful than it was for lifelink. 8:27 Sharazad's second ability would have multiple players play with the same library. 10:05 Quadrastrike not dealing damage during the last strike combat damage step is ridiculous.

Grand Inquisitor Leberhart *does* work. It just only works once. It gets played during your main phase, after your upkeep that turn; then it investigates on your end step; then on your next upkeep it makes someone a suspect.

I like Bizzy from a broader design perspective and agree with Noah's single criticism. Probably a bit on the strong but not super busted side. The wording could use some real work (equipped creatures get not creatures with equipped equipment, put it onto the battle instead of play without cost, etc.), but it could be a fun tron deck. The most glaring issue is the mana cost and card color though. Colorless cards without devoid don't have colored mana symbols in their mana cost and for commander purposes devoid doesn't matter for determining color identity. Really no reason for her to be colorless if she's not an artifact and if she were a colorless artifact just remove the red pip and increase the cost in generic mana. Just make her red imo. Her last ability already makes her a 5-color identity card in commander regardless of her own color.

Skinwalker was way too broken. What is the point of having a death effect when it has indestructible? Like how often do you run into kill spells that gets around indestructible? If it's gets removed, it's most likely getting exiled.

Evoke is an alternate casting cost, so command tax would still have to be paid if a commander did have evoke. Also since evoke sacs the creature when it enters, casting the commander for its evoke repeatedly would make it cost significantly more in the long run

Demois card has bad text box; since he can make any non-legendary creature into a legendary creature that is a copy of another legendary creature, i think they wanted to make sure you don't get copies of Demios that are treated as commander even though it's both redundant and not how a commander card function

i think what they wanted to say with demios the self crowned is that he is unfacted by legend rule so you can have multiple copies of him on table but only one copy can work as commander

I like my fleet swallower fish. I made my friend spend 15 minutes counting his library rounded up and discarding the top half. Another friend gained 54 life for each creature card sent to the graveyard. I quickly became public enemy #1 out of my friends group, but it was worth it. I thought I was going to die of laughter. 🤣

Derevi, Empyrial Tactician litterally has a constant cost to put it on the battlefield from the command zone. Tho it does not count as casting sure

The demios is clearly meant to not have the limitation of only 1 being in play at a time while being a legendary. But like it would be stupid if you had multiple commanders active so he discarded that option The rat is not 4 but 5 as its other rats also it gets a +1 when its the only rat in play

4:57 Obviously you're half-trolling, but I do think that making the evoke cost 4 mana instead of just discarding a card makes it kinda interesting. You can't play it on turn 1, and you can either flash it in and draw 2 and lightning bolt when it dies, or just pay 4 to draw 2 and lightning bolt. Only problem is that the evoke cost is blue or red twice, meaning a blue deck can lightning bolt with it and a red deck can draw with it without penalty. I would assume these are designed for commander though so that's probably not an issue.
