Just so you know there's actually a fourth book in the truly devious series called the box in the woods. It follows a different plot line but was just as good!

I just finished my last book for June so I absolutely couldn’t wait to get into this video! So interesting hearing what you thought about Too Late! I was very nervous about the idea of it and you’ve definitely confirmed I should probably stay away from it a bit longer… 👀

I love the truly devious series!! My favorites were the first two, I loved the writing and atmosphere. I’ve actually been wanting to read something similar if you know of anything!

I absolutely loved The Truth About Love ! Such a beautiful story ! I’m definitely going to give the Truly Devious series a go. And Ivy. You should read the Inheritance Games, I’m on book 2 and it’s such a fun easy read 🥰

I'm not sure if you read Colleen Hoover's disclaimer at the beginning of Too Late but she explains why she added so much for the epilogue and prologue and an epilogue to the epilogue. The tl;dr is that she was in a writing slump and wrote this book as a "project" to help her write other books and she was publishing it for free online in a FaceBook group (I think). So the book was published in a physical format exactly how it was released online. She even states that this book isn't like her other books.

i read hidden pictures this month and that book was spectacular! it’s a thriller. i also really enjoyed the infinity between us which is on KU and is childhood best friends to lovers to strangers to lovers THE BEST TROPE

From the books that you mentioned, i wrote down 3, for my TBR, that sound great to me ...Travis, The Truth About Love .. and.. Alex, Approximately (if that gives you any ideas of my preferred style of book 😆)... This month i read Archer's Voice (4 stars), November 9 (3 stars) and After I do (3 stars)... and the next book that i will start is Heart Bones. 💖

I think you would love the bribe by Willa Nash, it’s small town romance and has a little bit of mystery and doesn’t focus on the spice too much!

Loved S1 of Bridgerton and how the book aligned with the show, but S2 book is wayyyy better than the show, I don't know why they didn't follow the storyline of the book! I think the books get progressively better so enjoy! :)

Thank you so much for this book recaps it was amazing . Stick with the bridgeton series the books are amazing season 2 doesn't stick to the book as much as season 1 so unpopular opinion the books are better! Idk I just love historical romances but I'm so keen to read ivy and travis so thank you for your content and keep it up! :)

I think my favorite book this month was Love and Gelato. It was a super great book with nice characters and it was just a very good read. I definitely give it 5 stars.

I read Tea with the Black Dragon, Game of Thrones: Dance with Dragons, Divergent, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and It Ends with Us this month and those last two broke my heart. Definitely recommend tea with the black dragon by RA Macavoy for a short 'feel good fantasy mystery romance' that is beautifully written - my partner's mum recommend it to me as one of her all time favourite books and I 100% agree with her 🥰

I read Alex Approximately this month too and I thought it was soooo boring. I skimmed the last half and didn't like how they resolved the conflict either. 4.25 stars is generous 😂 But now I definitely need to read "These Hollow Vows"!

the way you described these hollow vows sounds a lot like acotar to me. sisters living in poverty, sister gets kidnapped, goes through a series of trials to save sister. lol

i only read 3 books this month, which is my lowest month so far, but i did enjoy the three books i read: Scoring Wilder by R.S. Grey, Twisted Games by Ana Huang, and The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

yes I remember when the legend trilogy came out everyone was going crazy for the dystopian stories, I guess there coming back. I recommend the Delirium trilogy by Lauren Oliver

You have to read Night Road by Kristin Hannah!! One of the best books I’ve ever read. I can’t stop thinking about it!

Hey Rachel, I love your account so much and your voice is the sweetest. Please keep making book videos, I wanted to tell you that you spoiled “Too late,” by Colleen Hoover. I don’t think you were suppose to tell us what Carter’s “disguise” was. That was one of the main plot twists, and it shocked me a lot and it would have to the other readers as well :)

So good!!! I just reserved These Hollow Vows at the library straight after watching this! By fave book of the month was ‘Without Merit’ by Colleen Hoover, such a different read by her and not romance focused - can’t stop thinking about out! Interested to see if you have read this one? ❤️

I loved the truly devious series but I feel like book 4 wasn’t as good. I enjoyed the first three overlapping and the fourth wasn’t like that
