It Found Us takes place in the cemetery my husband worked at. I love Lindsay Currie and how she incorporates Chicago history in her books. I met her this summer...shes a cool person.

@@victoriasampley yep!!! And the showmans rest (the circus part of the cemetery) is really there. They're used to have a memorial celebration every year. You should read Scritch Scrath by her. Just as good!

@@michellevogt4530 Okay this is awesome to know. It’s funny cause I was like this elephant area sounds so random, but the fact that it’s real is amazing! That makes me like it even more. Yes!! I am for sure going to read as Scritch Scratch in the future. I hear it’s great!

Love all your recommendations - I just got my copy and haven’t read it yet but I’m recommending the beholder by Ryan La Sala and their previous book The Honeys 🍯

Haven’t heard of The Beholder! I am holding out on The Honeys until spring cause I hear it’s a good spring/summer read. I wish I would’ve gotten to it previously this year though! The Beholder sounds awesome! Def gonna put it on hold once my library gets it which is soon!🎉🎉 thank you!!

I recently learned that Nick Cutter is Craig Davidson's pen name. I find it interesting that you rated Handyman low, but Saturday high. Im curious to read both. He must have 2 very distinct writing styles. Also, I love Tiffany D Jackson. She writes so eloquently about some very important, tough subject matter for young adults. I loved Grown and White Smoke. I still need to read Weight.

I had no idea! I liked The Troop my Nick Cutter. I think maybe since Handyman had 2 authors that’s why. Though they are very different kinds of books from Ghost Club. I almost picked White Smoke for my girlfriend bookclub, but it wasn’t easily available through our library so I decided on something else. I am for sure gonna read those at some point!
