I have 3 things to say: - Lack of coins, compared to how much everything costs to upgrade. - Need better matchmaking (hope they improve it soon) - Overpowered brawlers on realese (a big problem rn) Other than that, a great game. Huge succes.

To be fair, it does seem that the game is rigged to make you lose sometimes. While I dont believe that is the case, it does get really annoying when the randoms are completely trash and the battle stats feature can back this up. Ur this is not a reason to lea e a one star review, all games will have trash players after all

as a player pushing to rank 30 (currently 28) it is important to note player skill varies at different times due to time zones and best times of play, find your favourite time to play by playing in the morning midday/afternoon or evening. events like the current takedowns event which make people want to just get kills for the reward of 1M gems generally can lower overall skill. People are more devoted to themselves rather than teammates, making any grind is always going to be hard.

That ain't even a problem. For me major problem is playing with pl-7 brawler against a pl 11 team, which is unfair matchmaking. And yeah I am a F2P player so I all the time don't have enough coins to power up

Also i think they should do something about timezone lag stuff Definition:- when you are teamed up with a friend of yours from another timezone say i am Indian and my club mate is American ... there's a lag in one of the devices ...the lag is simply the delayed response between when u click the button and when the player actually shoots.. .it gets really annoying.. especially in mega pig Though you can get used to this if you play a couple of matches ...but only qith few brawlers like otis ....but with some brawlers where u have to be quick...like stu (shoot super shoot) ...its just impossible to play

1:50 that use to be very relatable. I got so used to the slow gameplay i actually had to predict quite a bit ahead to predict someones movement, and actually felt the game ran way too fast when i got a better phone like 4 months ago. But you get used to it pretty quick and im back to playing ever so slightly above average lol.

I remember that my brother played in brawl stars couple years ago, he couldn't get Jackie for like 3 months, he get his epic brawler after a 6 months of playing this game

What Supercell needs to do to avoid this negative reviews is lowering the prices of the power-ups (eg Star Power, Hypercharge) and make the star drop actually good or just restore the boxes

I have been playing Brawl Stars for five years without spending a single penny. I've managed to unlock all brawlers, and I currently have 11 hypercharges. All my brawlers are at a minimum power level of 9, each equipped with at least one gadget and star power. Additionally, I own various cool skins, including the Mecha Mortis skin with all its color variants. Honestly, this game is far from being pay-to-win(except early excess of new brawlers which only bothers you for 2 weeks). Despite leaving the game 2-3 times, my account is really good.

How to escape teaming: get better and play 3v3/5v5

I think they forgot that there is more modes than just showdown.

I mean we spend more time than you, and in this time gap theres event and free rewards that could help your progress. Isnt it the most normal thing that happened on game tho

I have been having odd issue recently. In this issue the sounds sometimes fully bug out meaning that no matter what except For this odd thing in which if I puput,volume down or up it plays all sound For like 1 second until going silent again, I wont hear any sound/music

One thing i can say about brawl boxes is that theyre 100 times better than starr droos in mist cases, they give GARUNTEED coins and powerpoints with every box And before anyone says Oh BuT iTs cOmPlEtElY rAnDoM wHicH bRaWleR gEtS tHosE pOinTs! Remember, the brawl dev team also added the wild PowerPoints before the removal of boxes so you could choose who receives these PowerPoints

I mean, if there is a lot of people saying matchmaking is bad bc ur constantly losing, then I think that’s something to note. I’m not saying matchmaking is rigged at all (as in supercell WANTS you to lose) but I also relate to getting a big win streak, then a long lose streak, and alternating wins and losses. I remember I had a rly big loss streak because I matched with with 3k-28k trophy players against 17k-50k trophy players (I was at around 20k trophies, and playing a 750 trophy Bo). And idk about u but I think that’s unfair. I’m also unfamiliar if that’s just how it is when u reach 750 trophies on a brawler, but it was really upsetting. I just think supercell needs to work on its matchmaking mechanics, and making both teams evenly matched, cause in that loss streak, it definitely wasn’t 😭 And if I’m missing something or there’s something I should know just lmk Also, at around 4:27 u say something like “don’t clown on brawl stars because every game has bad randoms”, that doesn’t mean it’s good 😭 like, why can’t they review that on a game that has that issue? U also say stuff like just get good or “skill issue” but not everyone is going to be a pro at the game. I don’t think that even 50% or brawl stars players can pull off carrying the team in a 2vs3 consistently (I say consistently cause sometimes the other team just sucks so it’s easy to win a 2v3)

i noticed that it lags at convenient times too actually, i think its because when things get tense, people start button mashing and the game cant keep up with it and i start lagging because of so many inputs being sent over at once and of course it seems very convenient because the tense situations are where the most actions are happening at once hate randoms tho idk how they make it to like 650 while being so utterly garbage

I think that last guy has just a little point, i think having lots of boxes on the map might make some real bad imbalance between brawlers but the solution is pretty simple, there is a very good map that is one of my favorite showdown maps because its good for both ranged and melee, and the map is "Forsaken Falls" basically there are no power cubes in that map but when you kill a brawler they still drop them, so maybe more maps like that one are better off get released and overshadow the box ones little by little.

6:59 also i actually think i know why this happens cause ever since i got my new phone it doesnt. Its lag. To you everything moves at a set speed due to your game being slower due to low memory so when you suddenly get hit its just the game catching up to whats actually happening in real time.

There is no way in 10 heist matches in 500-550 trophy range, the other team almost always has hypercharged collette and bunch of chucks and i get bunch of dogwater players with bad brawler picks that are also low level.. Matchmaking being rigged is most probably true. (I get star player most of the time so not a skill issue moment)

8:30 ive played some comp fortnite (boy was that bad for my mental) and you can easily win against someone with better weapons, or in brawl stars more power cubes. It’s a matter of skill. And a lot of 1 star reviews boil down to a skill issue at the end

I would love boxes back tbh. I prefer to rely on boxes than on resources. I have 45K trophies and all the brawlers, every time there is a new brawler around the corner I just patiently wait for the release and instantly get it, no matter what rarity it is. It just isn’t fun to instantly get it imo, I would rather play for months and not get anything in the boxes and when I finally get something I just feel super happy than playing instantly with a brawler with no surprise.

No they are absolutly right about the matchmaking Im paired up with 2k-10k trophy players that are not even level 7 and im at 33k+

by the way, the scripting and rng thing is coming from usually parents who looked at a 2020 brawl stars reveiws and don't realize that the game updates

Ngl sometimes it feels rigged especially after a win streak then you match up with a random level 4 on your team that feeds the team

4:52 Completly true. I've played 2 other MOBA games (being Pokemon UNITE and League of Legends) and in both of them, you get massivly stronger by killing enemies. In League, if 1 guy feeds his lane opponent a single kill, that lane opponent will get a big level lead as well as a gold lead (which is used to buy items that empower your champion). Basically, giving a single accidental kill to an enemy assassin will lead to them steamrolling the entire map by killing you and your teammates before you could even use your dash. Brawl Stars doesn't have that issue. If your teammate dies, they will respawn a short time later, with the only advantage given to the enemy being a numbers advantage, that doesn't even matter if you have the right matchup.

I sometimes think this game is against me. It's like it wants me to loose. Like continuously for few matches my team has crap brawler Like Byron, Tick, frank etc and opponent team has Fang, Edger, Charlie, Bull. Even before match starts I know we will loose. At the end my kills are more but my teammates couldn't do anything because opponents have counter brawler that can run all over them.

It's funny how they say the higher trophy they are the harder it is and how rigged the matchmaking is and i been a f2p for 5 yrs now and almost never have a problem with the matchmaking and if i get enemies with higher trophies then me I am still able to win some of the matches

Some 1 star reviews were complaining about how they stopped playing for a few years, coming back to the game, and it not being the same as it was before

8:06 he has a point I don’t think he means remove skill based matchmaking but that they should include power level into the matchmaking I mean I couldn’t agree more I’ve started the game 5 years ago and came back like half a year ago and in the beginning I had way to much brawlers to level them all and I just wouldn’t play brawlers because firstly some brawlers are only playable with their starpower or gadget (increasingly more) and it’s just not funny to play on like 200 throphis and you are lvl 4 and completely outskill your opponent but he still kills you because he’s lvl 9 or maybe lvl 11 and with the increased strength that lvls give this has became more noticeable especially because people can just make any brawler they want lvl 9 because power cubes aren’t bounded anymore back in the days this problem didn’t really exist because less brawlers depended on their starpower there wasn’t that big of a difference between lvl 1 and 10 and you needed to be really lucky to max a brawler on low trophies or you needed a maxed account wich a really few people had

Is true abt the trophies. After 20k+ trophies you only get matched with mostly 20k+ trophies players even WITH 100-200 brawlers. Is probably so new players who dont have much maxed out brawlers and ect dont get destroyed. Still, before 15k you also get people who have similar power level but after that is mostly unfair. There was matches I had a power level 6-7 brawlers like most people then theres the 2 people who got maxed brawlers on the match

Skill issue, tbf tho, sometimes you just want to push a brawler you're not used to for quests

It’s weird how some say that it’s hard to upgrade brawlers and it’s not fair if somebody has power 11 and you have power 8 brawler in a same match. About the hard to upgrade i have 8000 trophies and 4 fully upgraded brawlers on my F2P sooo not so hard after all.

I think I understand new players who says it's unfair. I play since beta but my brawlers aren't high trophies and then I play against 15k trophie players and I notice the skill gap

There's just too many counter brawlers and terrible teammates to call it skill issues, at a certain point 1v3 is not possible. Also people who donate are so OP they hust get the new overpowered brawler and max it out going against people who are just ranking up on f2p accounts getting obliterated and you can't win cuz supercell doesn't nerf the brawlers until everyone who has them already got them to rank 25+.

I don't see the "pay to win" problem I have almost 52k trophies and haven't spent a penny, maybe it is because I started playing in 2019 but I still always max out any brawler I unlock immediately, I have 22k coins and 19k power points as a free to play player

The best thing for matchmaking is making so that if you’re brawler is power level 1 you fight other brawlers in you’re same power level and over all trophie count, easiest fix ever that’s not gonna happen because brawl starrs devs are lazy and don’t want to fix their game but instead ruin it 😊

one of the dumbest things to say about BS is that its P2W. of course in the beginning you are going to beat everyone, but at some point youll start loosing because at that point power levels start to matter less since you face other power 11 brawlers. also, at that point skill matters most because of that

About matchmaking ill say that it neads few changes. Like im at 50k trophies and both my teamates are below 20k and this is just unfair. Normaly its not even that bad but if u play challanges with randoms u will just see how bad it is
