Hi well Ik I’m late but some piece of advice is always useful! So especially if you’re not a native speaker (for example I’m not so I mispronounce words etc) you can search for the audiobook. There are some audiobooks in KZfaq too. Ik many books are not here but it has helped me a lot just listening to the book and looking at it at the same time! If you have to read it and you’re left behind, you can put it on speed 1.25 ! Hope I helped!

Nhat Phan honestly once you get into the story you'll be amazed at how fast you'll read. But if you don't like it it'll take you forever. The most I've ever read in a row was like 200 pages which equated to about an hour and a half.

Even though I don't have the time to read books in my busy routines (busy playing games and study). I still manage to finish a 1000 page book in 8 to 9 days ( I have classes for 4 days in a week) during one hour plus trip from home to campus and also from campus to home. (My transport is LRT thus making the trip that long) My bad habit at reading is I seldom read the same book again in the same year. I might return to the same book when I have the mood So I might forget 40 to 70% of the content a month since I finished the book.

A few things: - My pronunciation of Don Quixote starts awful and gets worse, I'm sorry! - I have been cheated. Through no fault of my own (totally my fault) I ordered an abridged copy of The Count of Monte Cristo--the real one, as some of you have kindly pointed out, is much longer. I will remedy this fault by reading the unabridged version in due time. In my defense, it just said "Mass Market Paperback" when I ordered and nothing about being abridged! Those scoundrels... - I did miss a few books. These were books I either had already read (Frankenstein) or couldn't get my hands on in time (Desperate Characters), try though I might. I will now catch up on sleep and leave my books on the shelf for a few days... thanks for watching :)

John Fish the pronunciation of Don Quixote is the funniest part of this video 😅❤️ but, in fact this is why English is so hard to learn - you know the alphabet but you still can’t read correctly 💆🏻‍♂️

if you say: "done key ho te" it would sound almost like the correct pronunciation, when you have rested enough, give "Cien años de Soledad (A Hundred Years of Solitude)" a chance. You'll love it. Great challenge... i should put, at least, some mintus into reading. :] Greetings from Argentina

Lux Arcadia Don Quixote is definitely the transcription of Spanish “don Quijote”, so it should be easy to read for english speakers (if English makes more sense) 😉

Wow I’ve never seen or heard someone so excited to read and finish books 😮 I might actually pick up a book now because of this video.

When you were talking about reading as a kid, it took me BACK. I used to stay up late finishing books and be so tired the next morning but also be so excited to start the next. I might not do something as extreme as this but definitely going to start reading again
