As an actor and scriptwriter with a Theater Degree, I am so happy to see someone outside the theater world enjoy Shakespeare. Also, all of your ratings for each play I 100% agree with/can respect (except for As You Like It, that’s my favorite Shakespeare comedy so it will always be a 10 for me, especially because I saw it at the Globe Theatre in London so I know I’m quite biased). And yes, Falstaff is Shakespeare’s best character. He’s in like 10 of Shakespeare’s plays, and that whole “Cinematic Universe” thing is not incorrect. Often Shakespeare would do that I believe because it’s easier to use characters from past works then to create ones from scratch. Also, I can very much relate to being able to watch a Shakespeare play live with ACTUALLY trained Shakespeare actors. It’s quite incredible to witness. Love, love, LOVE this video. P.S. I would go to that sandwich shop

The fact that you managed to turn reading a book into a very entertaining video is astonishing to me. Goodness I’m beyond words! This video was in my recommended and I decided to watch it without noticing first that it’s a half an hour long. And I didn’t expect myself to watch it til the end, but I did! I have only read 5 of Shakespeare’s plays and have always wanted to read more, especially his comedies. By watching how you enjoy and at the same time suffer reading Shakespeare, made me remember the good times I had reading them as well (like still now I can’t forgot the line from Macbeth: What you an egg?). With all of that, man I think this is one of the best KZfaq videos I’ve ever watched, the quality, time, effort and your dedication for this video is at stellar! Thank you Liam for this video, as this inspires me to get back into Shakespeare once more. And ‘tis truly that all’s well ends well!

The *dedication* to saying "I will never read this book" to "You know, I should probably read it now" and then to COME BACK to it after the discouraging start. Major props. Wondering what book I have I may want to try this with. I love the play recreations, too!! 😃 I also liked hearing you say 'I think I understood about 1/3 of it'. I feel that way reading Shakespeare too, and I think it's still worth/enjoyable reading even when that's the case, but I wasn't sure what others would think 😅

Genuinely one of the most captivating videos of all time, or at least on youtube. I have felt every emotion Liam did and I will do so once more as I am now urged to also read some of Shakespeare hehe:) Thank you for the immense enjoyment, for keeping Shakespeare alive a little longer and for inspiring thousands of others to pick up Shakespeare again, Liam!
