Ben Carson was a world class neurosurgeon when he was practicing medicine. I’m sure he saw patients who had impaired cognitive abilities and heard the stories of the toll it took on them and their families. Feeling sorry for Biden doesn’t mean he likes him or approves of his administration.

Giving CNN the opportunity to host a candidates debate without a live audience and closed mics was a kinder and more gentle environment for this train wreck. Kudos to the RNC and the Trump campaign for this consolation. Dr. Carson is a reasonable voice for the next administration and would be my choice for VP.
