#1 when you get something that’s a weird shape or big you always figure out your box before listing. #2 always charge actual shipping for large items for that reason. #3 always skim the size an inch or two. Saves you way more than they charge you when they do spot it.

I'm from Alaska and I applaud you for standing behind the deal. I've commonly had people back out. Most of the time I'm willing to pay more for shipping as long as the seller isn't a jerk about it. Also, should you need to ship again to AK and it's not a rush, you can ship to Carlisle in Washington and they'll freight it up really cheap. It's called Carlisle MyConnect. I have a friend that diddle dabs with eBay and he will not ship to Alaska, Hawaii or another country. It's too expensive and/or dealing with customs can be tricky. I was glad you explained the blurring. I get it now and you're doing it right. Great video as always!

Just got through watching your video went to go process my sales for the day sold a miniature shop vac and it took me a minute to figure out why the shipping was so high. It’s going to the very southern tip of Alaska. Total profit $9.28 luckily I had nothing into this item. Love the videos and the education I get from them. I really like ur videos ur a honest guy I owned a skateshop for 25years in Bakersfield I was down the street from some pawn shops one story sticks out to me a lady brought a 1958 fender stratocaster guy gave her $500 she would bring her grandson in my store periodically when they told me I even called them privately and told them to give her 5k they laughed at me btw I seen it sold on reverb for 35k smh

I sold an antique clock movement on eBay around 5 years ago and shipped it with USPS priority mail. I charged the buyer to the penny what I paid for shipping. The part sold at my auction for 5.00 plus shipping. The buyer left me a negative for the price of shipping! I checked his site and he sold the part I sold him for 5.00 for 50.00. I haven't sold on EBay since then. CS would not remove the negative even when I showed receipts and photos. Never again! I would throw it in the trash before I would sell on eBay!
