Coincedently I also have tech problems right now, and Im an asian bedroom producer as well lol. My motherboard is broken on my new pc and i cant produce on the old one do to it being too slow to run my plugins. Its a nightmare right now. tho ableton stock plugins were exclusively used here maybe i can start some new cool sounding ecomplextro rocket league songs follow your example LOL. thanks fro the entertaining informative video

@@ArkmageEDM it's well known that a multitude of old brostep and other EDM songs are compressed and limited to the point where they lack dynamic range and in a way that sometimes even undermined the sonic quality of the music. DJs in the early 2010s were always trying to make their songs as heavy and loud as possible to one-up other DJs when they played shows. additionally, the art of producing music with such intensity was largely uncharted territory back then, thus many mixes and masters were "overzealous". this pursuit of who could make the loudest dance tune with tons of bass led to many songs that had artifacting, phase issues, and caused ear fatigue. if you ever wonder why EDM gets a bad wrap, that's mainly why

Hey man. I started watching your videos a couple of weeks ago. I have a goal to complete one song. I have never been musically or artistically inclined so this is all very new to me. I'd like to learn more about how all this works so that I can create my own. I really like the way you go over how everything is put together in your videos. Unfortunately as I am so new to this world I don't really understand how all the software works and how to edit and change things or even find the plug-ins. Idk if you have any video tutorials of navigating the software or what is even the best stuff to use starting out. If you can point me in the right direction, anything would be greatly appreciated! Keep up the good work!
