José mourinho is a great manager, just like Armando Evangelista, you should replace him at FC Arouca as well.

As a big AS Roma sad I'm a bit sad about Mourinho getting sacked because he is objectively a great coach. Even though we might have not played a brilliant and visually spectacular football we however went on winning an European title and loss an European final the year after in a very "unlucky" way... what actually frightens me the most is the fact that De Rossi (don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan since I was a kid, I have a signed shirt of him and I will probably do anything to support him) is not a proper coach, or generally speaking he hasn't got a great experience... going from Mourinho to De Rossi might not have been the wisest of decision, but I'm sure that DDR's passion and love for Roma will make us improve and maybe achieve champions league football again (I hope)... DAJE ROMA!!!

I think that there were 2 main problems with JM. The first one is that when there was a need to change, for example changing the formation or give a chance to bench-players like Azmoun or Belotti when Dybala didn't fill great, he failed to do so and this led to that series of bad results. AS Roma has a lot of injured players and many of them are defenders like Smalling, Kumbulla and some times also Llorente, but even though JM didn't have players to do the 3 line-defender he kept going to the match with that by just adapting players in that role. He could have tried to play with 4 line-defender since, before going to Roma, JM had played with just that formation. Another thing that made some AS Roma's fans and probably also the AS Roma's president unhappy with JM is the fact that in many of the matches where Roma lost he gave the fault to the referees and he had never taken responsibility for the lost match when it was obvious that he had not been able to make the right choices. PS: As an AS Roma fan i say that i loved and i will forever love JM for what he did for us, but i think that it was the time to take different paths because it could have been worse if he stayed more.
