Hey MasterBucks, loving these series, one thing that you might want to consider doing is taking advantage of player contract expirations, that can get you free players mid season like a Kante in fifa 23 to ea fc 24, or a Messi from fifa 21 to fifa 22. This could help with the smaller clubs. Keep up the good work!

Did that exact thing with the likes of Marcos Llorente or Giorgio Chiellini. Yes, he was in his mid 30s but was still high 80s and did a good job at the back for a season or two.

I know you’ve got a career mode on them, but you should definitely do your own Newcastle united for the 10 year rebuild to see how you can get your beloved to the champions league, and also see how excited and pumped you’d get having more of that emotional investment in it

Funny you say that, I dug out Footy Manager 2008 there recently and Palermo are a great side to do a save with. Well, if you can hold on to all their players for at least a season or two... Andrea Barzagli, Cristian Zaccardo, Mattia Cassani, Roberto Guana, Mark Bresciano, Fabrizio Miccoli, Edinson Cavani and Amauri. Such a good spine to build a team around!

Love this series so much! I spent a coach ride back from a great football game (Barrow vs Stockport) listening to multiple videos in this great series! I would recommend doing a Leverkusen rebuild since they had some serious talent such as Son, Havertz, Brandt, Leno, Bender, and even Calhanoglu!

Currently doing one with Notts Forest from 15 through to FC24. As of FIFA 21, they've won promotion back to the PL and won the double, and hit the CL semis in their first season back in Europe's elite. Aiming for a few more league titles and a European Cup.

You should do one with West Ham or Crystal Palace, two teams who had just moved up to the Prem (or were still in the championship) and are looking to cement themselves. You could even take it another step and promote/relegate the team through the years depending on your league placement. If you are looking outside of England, may I suggest Roma (a team that has had lots of strong players throughout the years with no prolonged success) or PSV/AZ (break the Ajax dominance at the top of Dutch football)

We (Aberdeen) could have won the title in 2015/16 if Liverpool never recalled Danny Ward. We were top at Christmas and on a roll. Ward only played 2 games for Liverpool when he went back too which is the annoying thing.
