Great video! I've doing an Everton save, albeit on Xbox. We finished seventh, five, second twice and then sixth, I think. We've won the FA Cup, League Cup and Champions League so far. Mind you, we've had a bit of a slump in my latest season and we're down in 10th with seven games to go. Florian Wirtz (FREEEEEE), Orkun Kökçü and Tommy Baldanzi have been my best signings. Love the videos; there's some really creative stuff on your channel!

I have done a save with Everton, we are currently 12th and in the league Cup final. I have kept majority of the players and have changed formation. If there was no points deduction we would be in the top 5. Calvert Lewin is flying high with the goals as well as a surprising danjuma. The club just got took over by a Korean billionaire. We had 186million to spend. I don't want to bring in a lot as I am happy with the team so far

Another person that doesn't understand what's actually happened but jumps on the man city charges bandwagon 🤣🤣 Everton were told that if they started to build a new stadium then they would fall foul of ffp, so instead of doing the sensible thing and delaying that process they went ahead and did it anyway and then act all aggrieved when they actually got points deducted.. I'm not a city fan either before you start, I just understand how to read properly 👍🏻 Man city were charged by uefa and not the Premier league, they took it to court of arbitration who found that "most of the alleged breaches were either not established or time-barred." Everton were profligate, took unnecessary and frankly stupid risks -- like reportedly budgeting to finish sixth when, in fact, they ended up 16th -- and in the view of the independent panel, they took some liberties with creative accounting, possibly in good faith The fact that people don't understand this is mind boggling.. and they just hate man city and want to see them capitulate.

I don’t know if it would end up being that interesting or even possible, but could you see what happens if every nationality of player is sent back to their respective domestic league and can’t move. Maybe after a long time the uefa coefficients would be quite interesting, same with world cups etc.

You know what could be a fun idea? Make 3 wonderkids; one with maxed out physical stats, one with max mental, one with max technical, 1 in everything else, and 200 potential. Put them all in a youth development club, say, Crewe Alex, and see how their careers pan out. My bet is that the technical player will get snapped up quicker, but the mental will be the best overall by the end.

i love what you do tom fr and ive been playing football manager for the longest since 2012. but more recently especially in this fm 23 ive found it hard to build my own tactic as i always did. at least with lower teams. im currently coaching steau bucaresti in romania but im having a hard time building a tactic that works. ive watched tutorials read blogs and everything but i cant find anything that works. any help?

Tom can you add some legendary players to a team and see how they get on... Like Maldini or someone.. That guy had a huge career, he defended against Platini, Maradona, Zidane, Ronaldo, Ibrahimovic and Cristiano...

I'd like to see a video to see which player has the biggest impact on a team for one season. For example, as a Blackburn fan which one of Alison, Van Dyke, De Bruyne or Haaland would make the biggest difference to the teams overall position 🤷⚽️

I've just started the video, but this should be the easiest save possible - Everton have been massively overrated in FM for years, right the way back to the Championship Manager games. They always end up challenging for Champions League places within a season, if not in the first season, and winning the league within a couple of years. Its almost like someone behind the scenes supports them. See also: Man Utd and Watford.

There wasn't anyone any good in the academy! Might have been bad luck as a lot of the players there may have generated at the low end of their potential ability range.

Kind of annoying that this skin doesn't show potential ability. Also I would much rather have an attribute comparison with a highlight on the role you want them to play then those useless "diamonds" and yes they are useless even more so then star rating.
