Welcome to my Galatasaray Football Club rebuild in Football Manager 2023, another FM23 one-off rebuild on this channel where I have rebuilt Galatasaray SK from Turkey (or at least attempted to!) Whilst Under HUGE Debt - can we take them to the top of Europe?

Other than the registration rules, there's also very strict match selection rules in Turkey. I think it starts off as allowing 8 foreigners in the starting squad and drops down to only allowing 5 or 6 after 3 seasons, so in league games random Turkish players on the squad took the spots from your signings (correction: apparently it stays at 8 foreigners in this year's fm). You've done very well without even paying attention to that lol.

Great video as always Jake. A few comments on the release clauses of some of Gala Players. Ziyech is on loan but has a free release clause on his contract for Gala. Zaniolo has 35 million Euros and Victor Nelsson has 25 million Euros release clause. As i loved what you did with that team, you could have make more money from transfers. Maybe the real contract information will kick in next years Fm and there will be a more realistic rebuild opportunity there. Also Galatasaray completed a new training and youth facility builded and expected to move there in 2024. Moreover as i watch this video Galatasaray announced Tanguy Ndombele and Davinson Sanchez has signed as new transfers.

Love the rebuilds! If you're looking for a challenge I would love a AS Saint-Étienne rebuild. Other than dirty oil money PSG (11), they hold the joint record for most league titles in France (10). They dominated in the 60's-70's, but were unfortunatly ruined by a finicial scandal which sent them into a free fall. They currently play in Ligue 2, missing out on promotion in the 21/22 when they lost on penalties to AJ Auxerre. Restore their honor and get them back into European football!

Hi Jake just found your channel. As a Coventry fan it would be great to see you rebuild them considering how tough we’ve had it in recent years as well as our two best players from the last couple seasons leaving in the most recent transfer window. Love the videos!

Great rebuild. Getting an European trophy and an UCL final is huge. Liverpool and PSG came to hell (that's how Galata fans say "Welcome to hell") and lost. You won plenty of trophies and made a hell of a team. An idea for a series more than a rebuild. Take an Eastern European Club not in Ukraine, Russia or Turkey and see if you can win the Champions League.

Can you do a not forest green RT the prem or even maybe a stronge championship side with fantastic youth. If that's hard i think maybe u can take ajax, river plate or benfica with the aim to improve their youth system and u play with players that aren't older than 23 for tge period u are at the club

I think you should rebuild ross county as the team have struggled to survive the scottish prem via the playoffs on pens. And are team furthest north in proffesional scottish football

The reason Leeds and Gala is that when Gala played in the UEFA cup ( Europa League) in 2000, they played Leeds in the semi final. In the tie in Turkey a fight broke out with the ultras and 2 Leeds were killed as a result. Anyone who has more information on that, feel free to correct me.

Here is a good idea why Leeds hate Galatasaray ... back in 2000 during a semi-final between the two clubs in the UEFA Cup, two Leeds fans were murdered in Instabul by Galatasary fans before the game. During the game, Galatasaray fans mocked the deaths and Galatasaray refused to wear black armbands as a sign of respect to the dead. So to this day still, Leeds fans have an extreme hatred towards Galatasary and this is where the "rivalry" stems from.
