Like wise, in FM, Dolot and Bissaka do fine until Tino Livramento/ Fresneda (can be my choice if FM roll is kind and Dumfries is expensive) get better. Barbosa on a free is cool....Todibo and Scalvini are not bad either. I find in the first season, after a few games, if you're winning, Ansu Fati will join Man u for about 60 mill then turn into a beast and if you can sell just a couple of players to add to next seasons transfer budget then Osimhen, Bellingham Or Musiala are good value at 100mill in summer 23. Mainoo and Arrøen can give some relief to your the 1st team and once you have got rid of Salbitzer and Weghorst its possible to get great players on a loan to buy.

Regarding the Champions League bit: with the tournament being expanded to 36 teams, 2 of those spots will go to the countries with the best UEFA coefficient (i.e. England and Germany one year, England and Spain the next etc). In FM there's normally a news item saying which countries get the extra space some time just after the end of the season. In reality (because English clubs will generally do well in Europe, the Top 4 will really now become the Top 5.

Hey Jake! I’m a newcomer to your channel and I’ve started to try do these 5 season-rebuilds and but I decided to start with Celta Vigo. I found it to be fun as they have a few great young players (Hugo Sotelo, Carlos Dominguez, etc.). It’s also a great time to do a rebuild with them with Gabri Veiga leaving the club, Iago Aspas getting old (a sad moment for a ‘celeste’ supporter such as myself) and Rafa Benitez coming in as the new manager. You could consider it a rebuild as Celta used to contend for the Europa League (getting as far as the semi-finals and losing to Man United 4-3 I believe) and were almost relegated last season. You could have a goal of trying to beat Deportivo La Coruña by winning more leagues than them and getting further in the Champions than they did (Semis I believe). It’s a bit ambitious but it might make the rebuild a bit funner. Thanks for the great content! Keep it up!
