Tip for free agency. Instead of backing out and pressing “simulate to next week” just click your left analog stick down on the free agency screen w the players, and it’ll sim a “eval” period. It will show you who signed and your signings. I believe you can do this 5 times before actually backing all the way out and pressing simulate to next week.

@@doseamigos1717 the eval period is quicker than to back out is the point I’m making, because of how long it takes to back out, sim the week, etc. instead you can press one button and see who’s signed to you and who’s not.

Few things that might help out future rebuilds: With the draft, check the mock draft 5 (shows up the week before the draft). You'll have a better idea of where the first round players are likely to be drafted so you'll know if you need to trade up) As you go through teams you'll get to see the power of playbooks in sim. Ex would be the chiefs offense will kill in sim. Love the videos and the expansion of content!

Tip for upgrading You should basically always do the scheme fit upgrade. When they have the scheme fit it means they fit the plays your coach will typically call in sim. Maximizing the effectiveness of each player like if you had a a zone cb but your defense coordinator calls man coverage plays more often your 84 zone and 79 man is basically only a 79 in sim because it’s the stat that matters most to the play calls you can also change out the coordinators in the manage staff to fit your players you already have better or to build around a specific player

You should also try to draft/trade/signFA scheme fits to play better if you have Lamar in a Tom Brady offense he’s going to get no rushing yards because they are not going to call running plays for him but the same the other way Tom Brady I’m a Lamar offense would be horrible because the designed run play for the qb would lead to no yards everytime in sim

Love the rebuilds papa! I recommend instead of using the trade finder when you want to trade a player like Aaron Donald you should put him on the trade block. You’ll get offers from teams so it’s less work and usually better value rather than using trade finder and them accepting it immediately and getting fleeced. Again I love the rebuild videos they’re super entertaining! Keep killin it!

Also you should look at the rookie/young free agents to sign before you start every franchise. Having young depth that develops quick is a solid move.

hey papa got a tip for developing rookies for you, if you sign low ovr players for cheap out of free agency with the "mentor" tag, they'll help them develop, and the tag stacks so it can help a lot, especially with offensive lineman that don't develop as great as some other positions

Papa, you need to start thinking like a GM. If the player you want is at 10-15, trade with a team below you, swap picks but also ask for their second-rounder.
