PLUS G2たまたま買ってたんだけどこれほんといいコスパいいしなんたって国産品だから仮に失敗してもそこまで不快感ないし保証期間5年ってのがめちゃくちゃ魅力的友達にはGen4対応のサムスン製勧められたけどやっぱり国産って理由で選んでよかった

Samsungは5年くらい前はコスパ良かったんだけど、今はKIOXIAやWD、SK Hynixに押されてますね

価格ですと2.5インチSSDはクルーシャル一強だったから m.2 NVME SSDは東京芝浦やサムスン電子にも頑張ってもらいたい。

今アマゾンで、オレンジが7780円、ブルーが8980円。これくらいの価格差ならブルーのが良いかな？でもヒートシンクが要るのか…安いのでいいとはいえ。無しだと故障するのだろうか、寿命が減るのだろうか。

I finally bought a kioxia g2 and as I said, when transferring files, its temperature quickly rises to 80 degrees, while my sn570 barely reaches 65 degrees. Now my question is, is this drive really that hot or is there something wrong with it? Look, money is hard to come by here. If this drive is really hot, I will return it and buy sn570 because the weather is extremely hot here and this will cause the drive to be lost. I don't want to lose my money, so I want an honest answer. Now does it have temperature problem or not? Also, I don't want to pay for the heat sink.

As I mentioned before , that 80 degrees is not the temperature on NAND but on controller. sn570 is definitely heat up to the same degree on the controller but you just can't see it cause most of SSD has thermometer on NAND to make the temperature look low. You can see the true temperature in the video I sent you before. I found SN570 was TLC, not QLC as you said. My apology.

@@toku777 you're welcome Yes, there is tlc and the performance of both is almost the same. I bought Kioxia here for 5 dollars less and it works well. It's just less tbw, I don't know if this will make it less longer or not, because I had about 30 TB of usage on the Western SSD in about a year, and now it's at 99%. So there is no problem about the temperature? Someone told me that by touching the controller when the temperature is high, you will know whether the temperature is high or not. I also touched the controller and it was not too hot. Is this touching the right criterion for testing? Regarding your video, I also saw the temperature, but I did not understand whether it is 69 without a heatsink or with a heatsink And what program do you use?

@@toku777 thanks I saw it now So, since the sensor is in the controller, programs like hwinfo and crystal disk info show the temperature of the controller, and this temperature is normal for the controller, because I saw that the controller can withstand up to 100 degrees. So, are these critical errors that the programs show wrong? Because it shows the temperature of the controller instead of nand and because it is high, it gives a critical error, But in the hard disk sentinel program, I saw the temperature around 55, which I think is the real temperature and there was no critical error.. In general, these critical errors are dangerous if it is for the nand temperature, right?

@@samebi60 Kioxia series has a braking system in 2 separated levels around 77℃ and over 90℃. First brake is not critically strong as it would make it super slow as the second brake at 90℃. meaning is, if you wanna maxout the Kioxia SSD, you better keep its temperature under around 77℃ degree with heatsink. Basically no need to care about NAND temperature cause it is the rare case that it’s gonna trigger any temperature problem than the controller. I don’t know how every third party program does work but it seems like these issues are possibly just a warning for temperature. Out of my experience, Plus G2 will be over the normal temperature in heavy load works without heatsink.

私はオレンジの方(無印）の１ＴＢを使ってます。この値段でキャッシュがちゃんと載ってるのが大きいですね。コントローラーですが、買収したＯＣＺの流れをくむ東芝製かと思っていたら、違うんですね。それだけが残念です。

no neeed to pick the none cache sn570 for any reaason. TBW is not the definitive number that you can judge by beyond different makers cause they puts the number only by ther own tests.

@@toku777 thanks for the answer honestly i already have 500GB sn570 on my PC and i need second SSD it seems only these two drives are best for my budget other SSDs have serious issue like drop down speed to under 100mb/s and ... but i found one negative thing about G2 most reviews are saying about high temperatures like 70 80c ( my sn570 never reached 60c ) without heatsink and throttling issue but some reviews saying it's hot but no throttling issue .. which one is really true ? do i need really add heatsink to this SSD ? does it have throttling issue in summer ? another thing is warranty in my region there isn't any 5y warranty ! kioxia coming with 2y warranty and WD sn570 has 3y warranty ... i just don't wanna see any problem in buying SSD again i had a nightmare with some budget SSDs .

@@samebi60 That temperature issue is mistake. Kioxia SSD has the thermometer on its controller, not on NAND as most SSD makers do. I tested the temperatures with my handy thermometer directly in diferrent videos. Warranty may not be any conceren if you care about throttling issue by QLC NAND on SN570. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/pr51qNym1b3eo4k.html

@@toku777 it seems crucial p3 dude and it's junk .. sn570 is not QLC and not a bad ssd at all .. anyway i want to know the kioxia temperature without heatsink .. did you test that without heatsink ? i dont want to add extra heatsink i'm worry about throttling without heatsink .. please tell me honestly about that ...

@@samebi60 I gave that P3 vs Exceria G2 Plus video FYR. Just check it out and you will understand that temperature is OK without heatsink since Kioxia G2 is a more efficient SSD than G2 Plus.

持ってないのでざっくりとネットの情報を見た感想でいいなら、 SN770はDRAMなしでも、HMB(PCのDRAMにキャッシュを作る)採用でなかなか頑張ってくれる製品だけど、キャッシュレスの弱点はでる。大きな欠点は速度低下後の速度が約500MB/sとキオクシアオレンジよりも遅いこと。空き容量が1/4程度になると発生しやすいみたいなので、例えば1TBモデルだと750GBほど何か保存している状態で使うならキオクシアPlusの方がいいかも。と、ネット情報から感じました。

G2の方を購入しました。性能はともかく、初期不良です。いや、どこが悪いのかわからないんですが、認識して、フォーマット出来て、データーの読み書きも出来て、さて問題ないだろうと思っていたら、使用し始めると、10分ぐらいでパソコンがフリーズ。電源長押しでようやくシャットダウン。また起動して、10分ほどでフリーズ。何が原因かと探ってみたところ、最後に設置したこのG2を外したら、正常に戻りました。またG2をつけて使ってみると、30分以内には、作業中のソフトが堕ちるか、パソコンのフリーズ。原因はG2でしょうが、思いも寄らない不具合でした。なぜこの不具合かはわかりません。初期不良というのが妥当な線でしょうけど、もう一つ気になっているのは熱。50度を超えることはなかったんですが、これが原因かもとも思います。ヒートシンクは使っていません。ただ、ヒートシンクなしで、他社製のM.2は普通に使えています。温度も、同程度。でもキオクシアは熱に弱いのかもしれません。ヒートシンクを試してみようと思います。で、返品したいが出来ない理由。①うっかり個人情報を入れてしまった。SSDはデータの完全消去は無理なので。②サポートであるバッファローに問い合わせしたとき、驚くべき事が判明。キオクシアのM.2は、自作パソコンは保証外だそうです。5年保証ですが、修理に出す前にPCメーカーに問い合わせるのが必須で、自作の場合はその時点で保証対象外になるそうです。

初期不良の場合はメーカー保証の前に販売店 (購入元サイト) で設けられている初期不良対応をしてもらうと、交換や返金をしてもらえる場合があります。(バッファロー直販売だったかもしれませんが。) SSDでも完全消去は可能かと思います。 jp.easeus.com/partition-manager/how-to-completely-delete-ssd-hdd-data.html
