Actually there needs to be a variant of this device a closed hand and when you press the horn on your car the device in the back window has the single finger lift up from the middle of the hand signaling the driver behind you. Wouldn't that make life so much easier if we could flip other drivers the bird by having 1 of these devices in a window of her vehicle and just as we blow the horn the unit automatically flips them the finger.

Ironically, the Hyundai app is the actual "unnecessary invention" when a timer would work even better... My 2006 car would just lock itself if it was off for 15 minutes and the same 2021 model with a keyless fob that literally knows if the car is empty makes me use an app with a subscription...

teslas will just unlock and lock with your phone’s Bluetooth and gps, remotely turn on your ac, or summon your car if you paid for the option. but most options are free

A car should never lock itself based on a timer. You either lock it yourself while you're there in person or you lock it remotely.....but it should never do it on its own.

That’s why I love my 2019 Civic Si…it’s such a simple feature and works flawlessly 100% of the time. I never have to physically take my key fob out of my pocket to lock/unlock or start the car. The car Auto Unlock’s when you reach around the handle and auto locks when you walk more than 5 feet away. Also you can never accidentally leave your keys locked inside your car as the car won’t lock when it detects the key fob inside.

Just one issue. When you lock your car from the inside it disables the internal motion sensors assuming someone is inside. So if someone smashes your windows and jumps in 😶... You'll never know... But also 🙌 awesome project! Love it
