I redesigned the battlemachine for builder base 2.0

I designed 3 Hero concepts for the builder base from clash of clans and made a short cinematic clip for them. I made all of this in blender 3D and After Effects. I hope this video inspires some people to make their own game concepts. All upgrades and the video took approximately 5 weeks to make.

No I didn‘t. But I think they worked for a longer period of time on the copter, so they didn‘t really take it from me.

I think the chainsaws idea could have been cool, possibly acting as an inferno as the the blade digs deeper and more of the blade cuts through at a time, but the saws could probably do the same, and I love the ability and animation! You are super talented, love this video!

With the second design I would feel like a good ability would be for the machine to go to air, then wherever, 10-15 tiles away will fly down and crash into buildings dealing massive damage.

Great video, I loved the concepts! I was wondering how you did those impact frames when the lightning struck or the battlemachine shot. Did you also do this in blender or are there any great tutorials for this?

They were also done in blender. With a stretched noise texture on a cylinder with an alpha. And a color ramp in in the compositing tab. Pierrick picaut explains how to do them in his video: „smears, speedlines, dust, trails….“
