This week I reenacted an entire episode of Dance Moms from start to finish. Brooke is brooding (well she's taking her SAT's and also has a dislocated shoulder but she's being a real Debbie Downer), Mackenzie is acting like she's 5 (which is insane because she doesn't turn 5 until June) and Kendall's mom's lip injections are so big they are covering her eyes and she can't see that her daughter just isn't gonna be the next Maddie. Things at the ALDC are a wreck and I appreciate you being here to witness it all!

Nia being on the bottom while winning is definitely the most accurate piece of Dance Moms history Tbh I really felt Abby should've just said what she thought "Nia, you're black, you should be dancing twice as well as all the other girls on our team, you don't get equal standards, until my standards are met you will be AT THE BOTTOM"

Spot on! I legit had a choreographer in high school tell us that she once performed after having her appendix removed, her stitches tore open and she was bleeding 🩸 on stage, but she kept dancing. It was meant to inspire us - we were 13 🤦🏼‍♀️

That one time she kept going "Ohhhhh I don't know who's playing Rosa Parks" as if it would be appropriate to have ANYONE but Nia play that role. Everyone knew Nia was going to be Rosa, because it would be incredibly tone deaf to put a white dancer in that role when you have a black one right there. And I would believe "she just wanted her to work for it" if this was the only time she's been racist to Nia. But this was a pattern of behaviour, that even Holly noticed.

I can't stand jill. Way more than melissa. I just realized that all of the original moms (except melissa) were unarguably liked and by the end of the show every mom sucked except holly lol. I also just realized that the show started pretty wholesome and just went downhill into unhingedness slowly.

I honestly feel as if you have saved the dancers at least two years of therapy by showing them what we adults in the real world were seeing the whole time. Abby always made their moms seem crazy. Abby was the one that was crazy. God bless those girls! The reasoning she used for not liking the girls was so spot on it was scary. God Bless You!!!! you’re doing the Lords work

Pyramid every time: - Nia at the bottom bc she did something that reminded Abby of trauma or something went wrong with the music, etc. - Paige at the bottom too bc Kelly drinks and gives her a solo abt Kelly - Mackenzie bc she “isn’t Maddie” and doesn’t do everything like Maddie - Brooke does good in dances, but middle of pyramid bc of something outside of the dance studio prioritizing school -Chloe getting compared to Maddie and given a villain solo -Maddie on the top for literally existing -Kendall not on it and Jill making it deeper than what it is
