@@benkenon I get that. However, he is the one who wore it out. It's his story that guitar tells. Nobody else's. Makes no sense for anybody else to play it because of that. I don't understand custom shop guitars as well. Why take a perfectly new guitar and beat it up and make it look old just because you want it to look like Willie Nelson's guitar? Why not buy a new one and create your own story. Just because a guitar has been beaten up and not taken care of does not mean you should leave it that way. Restore it and give it a new life and let someone create a new story on top of the story that already exist? That's just me. I would never want to play an ugly instrument.

For some reason and speaking strictly as a guitar-maker and repairman for years I have seen countless butcherized SG's on my workbench with many of these being in worse shape than this one... For some reason Les Pauls, 335's, Flying V's, Explorers, Firebirds, etc... are rarely messed with but it's okay to mess up with SG's... Maybe it's because they're more affordable and less luxurious than Les Pauls so it's no big deal 😄😄 Anyway, I'm glad to see that nice SG restored and back in all of its glory... I was especially impressed with your work with the serial number... Great work as always 👍👍
