Glad to see my little dudes found a good home. Sorry the Klaasi passed, I'd seen it eat recently so I didn't know it'd gone :( nice rehousing btw, I always found the albo was pretty zippy during past rehousings lol

Great rehousing Kayla! I do pet some tarantulas too in my house and yes I agree that the acrylic enclosure add more aesthetic value in displaying our tarantula, but the problem is mine has too big air flow that makes the substrate dry easily🥲 Keep it up Kayla😁

Aww, sorry for your loss, Kayla. It's rough, but that's why tarantula momma's have so many babies, not all of them make it for whatever reason. It may have been dehydration, as you said. It's always a good idea with slings, which are at such a delicate stage of life, to keep one side of the enclosure damper than you might think is the right amount. They'll seek the moisture if they need it, shun it if they don't, but it's good to give them a choice.

Thank you so much. Tarantulas definitely produce quantity over quality! And I completely agree with you! I like to keep one side of the enclosure humid and damp by using moss. I’m very diligent about keeping the moss damp now! 😊🕷

@@kaylaroach Haha, well it's a fine line we tarantula keepers tread... my GBB juvie is VERY opinionated on the subject of humidity. If I DARE to fill her water dish, she'll fill it in with dirt within about an hour... a little water on her web, she's fine with, and I've actually caught her burying her face on a droplet to take a drink, but a water dish ? She gets so offended, haha

Imo space goes over aesthetics 🤔 if I have to choose between a bigger box and a smaller terrarium I'll go with the box 🤷🏼

Am I the only one who washes out my new enclosures? I keep seeing these videos where they open the box and dump the substrate and spider right in. I’m just nervous that there would be something on them

Look's good, but don't u hate it when it's feeding time and your roach or cricket runs off and hides into moss? I tried these type of enclosure, i think they are good for the human eye but not always appropriate to the spider. Cheers from Holland

I really want to redo my juvenile B. Hamori’s enclosure but I’m too scared to rehouse her,she hates humans and I don’t want her to like run away! Great video :) Sorry for your loss :(

Thank you so much! I completely understand your concern with rehousing your B. hamorii. If you use all the tools necessary to prevent your tarantula from escaping (large container, catch cup, etc.), rehousing becomes less intimidating. Watching videos and tutorials might help boost your confidence too! 😊 I’d be more than happy to help you if you need any advice! ❤️🕷
