It really looks like the first one was made with the assumption that it was indeed a "baby" Yoda, looks closer to Yoda's color and face structure. The second one looks more like Grogu. Both are absolutely amazing!

Bottom aims to be realistic, since it wasn’t a thing there were no cute photos of it. Top is more cute and a little goofy, since there are more cute pictures there are less wrinkles and dirtiness, and more clean and organized lines. This shows the difference between how the internet viewed baby yoda then vs now.

@@Cheesedisease_1 his official name is grogu, but we didn’t know his name when the series was first announced or a long time after it premiered, so the fan name was “baby yoda” since yoda’s species’ name is also unknown. It kinda stuck so you can either use baby yoda or his real name grogu and people know what you are talking about (actually more people will know what you are talking about if you say baby yoda which is how popular the name was lol)

I like the head of the 2nd better cause it reminds me more of baby yoda than the 1st one but i think that the clothes of 1st one are more detailed

The bottom grogu has good attention to detail but Is kind of square while grogu on the top is good shaped but less detailed

The top one is sooo much cuter but the bottom is sooo much more realistic
