Damn, I haven't seen this documentary since it first aired, when I was 12 years old. I loved it then and love it more now. Man, I really miss this era of pro wrestling. Thanks and RIP "Gorgeous" George!

This is the best documentary on pro wrestling in the pre exposed days . How different it would be if something like this was made today ..

Alot of the bumps and punches are real but the outcomes are preplanned

Knowing what a prankster he was, I have no doubt that Curt Hennig set that entire exercise demonstration up just to plant the guys face in the mat at 12:29.

The psychological age of wrestling began with Gorgeous George . He had an average physique on an average frame and was not anything much in the way of looks . Sohe went the way of being so different youhad to notice him.

Pro wrestling changed and entered its Golden Age when GG appeared. Man..did he influence pro sports...from Muhammed Ali to Superstar Billy Graham to Conor McGregor. George's legacy lives on.

I remember seeing this back then. I think Jolley and all the wrestlers were in on the joke. Even at the end when Jolley answers the question of "Is wrestling real?" he ends it with a promo from Jimmy Garvin. Translation? Yeah, it's staged but go ahead and enjoy it.

FUNNY AND HORRIBLE THAT CURT HENNIG IS TRAINING THIS GUY BUT COULD NOT CONTROL HIS OWN COCAINE ADDICTION. WHICH COST HIM HIS LIFE.
