When decorating villager's houses I used the Nook plaza tool and see what colours and styles they like then use that as a basis, I also have a pretty strong island theme so I have been making everyone conform to that.

25:41 - 27:23 yes!! i feel like social media plays a HUGE part in this. So many people feel pressured to move out of the house at 18, have a mansion, and have a fancy car. It's easy to feel like you've done nothing with your life when you're surrounded by people showing off their lives. And there are so many societal rules to being and becoming adult that it's easy to feel like a failure. For example, moving out of your parent's house at a certain age, getting a job, going to college, etc. There is so much pressure on young people that, at least for me, when you turn 18 you feel like you have to be a full blown adult; but they don't teach you anything about how to be one! It just feels like you're being rushed into everything But there are so many people that are still figuring out life and their adults! I remember when I saw a tiktok about a 30 y/o who was so scared to drive they never got their driver's license, but they worked through that fear and now they're on their way to get it! There are so many youtubers out there that are in their 20s and 30s that just started out and their succeeding! There is no linear path on how to be an adult! I just wish I could take my own advice because I am STRESSING about my future 😅

Idk what it is but the way you designed Reneigh's house reminds me of like when you'd go to your friend's house as a kid and they're pull out their bin of Polly Pocket stuff and you'd try and make a house with whatever they had that could work together. Like it's a bit eclectic but it's still a vibe.

i totally agree with the laundry sentiment. theres this other life simulator my friend and i used to play, and in an update last year they added the ability to collect laundry from the basket, bring it to a washer+dryer, and DO YOUR LAUNDRY !!! ITS SO MUCH FUN 😭 something about it, its so simple and mundane that its almost comforting

Happy pride! When you’re an adult, age really doesn’t matter that much. There’s no big difference between like a 26 and a 38 year old. When you reach adulthood 12-20 years isn’t really a big deal. I can see why it’s big for teenagers because 12 years ago they were like a toddler.

A trick I use for house remodelling is looking the villager up on AC wiki and looking at their houses from previous games. Sometimes it helps, sometimes the old versions look worse than the ones in New Horizons.

I have thought a lot about starting a channel- but I have no idea where to really begin. And now that the ACNH “last major update” is long past- idk how long a brand new channel would sustain. But I may do it anyway. I’ve got 2 islands I am working on - really trying to finish one for what used to be camping season (aka right frigging now). Maybe I’ll get there. Love to you! I follow many animal crossing channels and they get views. Those of us who love this game don’t care how many updates. Ppl watch villager hunts like crazy and that’s the same thing 100x lol You’ll do great. My advice don’t talk monotone and boring. A dull voice makes me click off fast

Abt the age thing in college. Ppl often think I’m around 19-20 (doesn’t help I’m short) and I’ve had to have the “no I’m actually 25/older than you” talk with a lot of freshmen and one girl had me take out my Drivers License bc she didn’t believe me, it’s usually happens abt 3 times a semester

You talking about age is funny b/c I'm 38 and still get carded when I drink haha I have never looked my age. I had my son at 26 and I remember when he was like 3 or 4 someone thought I was a teenager and was skipping school. I was almost 30! It' both nice and a curse! Oh and I love your shirt!!
