Those are honestly the best machines in arcades. Those cards really add to the enticing factor of getting a huge payout but you have to keep at it.

I go to Dave n Busters here often and that's the same machine I always go to. Toto is the rare card but the machine spits out new cards fairly often so it's not that hard to get him. I usually end up with two sets before we leave. It's weird that their machine didn't give anything for the coins that fell. At least for the one we play, each coin is like 5-10 credits (I don't really remember, it's been a while) that you put back into the machine to keep playing. I also didn't see if he ever had/got the bonus that gives you extra plays. At least for ours, that machine is the best payout compared to others although it is admittedly boring to play. It was a smart move on his part.

@matthew_natividad Yes a lot. They use them to get more tickets in the other machine so they have more to throw. We had a system that told us at the counter if there was an unreasonable amount of tickets being won at these machines which basically told us they were using too many bags. Managers can void these plays if they wanted.

Because if a manager's putting 6 bags in each game when there should be 12, and someone moves the 6 from one game to the other to have the 12 that are, by the manual, supposed to be in there, and gets the approrpiate amount of jackpots for their play, is the manager there claiming they won "too much" when really they were getting the conditions they were supposed to in the first place? Or was it a legitimate issue where someone had two full proper machine's worth of bags in one game? Please publicly state the name and location of the arcade and confirm or deny that they were going by the proper settings.

Used to work at Round 1 as an arcade attendant, and man, did this throw me back. Those coin pushers were regularly a nightmare LMAO. The stories I could tell from that hellscape.

Fellow previous arcade attendant(local place, not Round 1), I absolutely agree those wizard of oz machines were HELL. They would always break down and get cards stuck all the time. And at the arcade I worked at, I had to manually scan every single card at the redemption table. People would bring FULL BAGS of them from multiple trips holding up redemption table lines. And also the scanner also didn't always work.

Hey Connor. I used to worked in an arcade at Universal Studio of Orlando and yes some are rigged to spend more money to get somewhat decent prizes that you may look at the value of it and you will cry your eyes out. The Wizard of Oz is a big problem. It constantly stop moving until it will automatically shut down or overheat. It sucks I know. Be careful with some machines because it so old it might shut down on you or glitch with no reason. There are some games that makes you win the jackpot and you have no idea how. Some are broken that you have no idea until you asked the attendant and they won't have the heart to tell you it is broken. If your using a card to get your tickets in make sure it credit your tickets. (Some machines are duchbag for not awarding the total amount) Now I know most of the claw games and arcade game are rigged during my time working there, I don't bothered to go to an arcade. I just go online to get those items.
