I don't see that logic as if it wasn't for media propaganda click baiting and generating visits with comment warfare, anyone with half a brain knows they are completely different levels. CR7 is not comparable to only Pele but ALSO Cruyff and Maradona. Messi is. He is the ONLY PLAYER EVER to be as good if not better than the GOAT of playmaking, the GOAT of dribbling and GOAT of goal scoring in ONE package. CR7 has GOAT level goal scoring ALONE. Yes, he is one of the most complete goal scorers, but so were players like Eusebio, Gerd Müller etc. AND they were better dribblers, playmakers and team players as for decision making in build up. Messi always and remains a completely different level of player compared to anyone or anything we have ever seen in football history. Anyone who fails to see that (I have no idea what your personal opnion is) frankly, has low IQ and thinks this is the sport of goal-ball. It's not. It's called the beautiful game. Master level dribbling and playmaking consistently for 15+ years has been done by no one else EVER and is an essential part of the game!!! GOAT by miles and miles. Truly no one comes close. That's why they always said shit like "This guy is from another universe" etc. Again, consistently for over a decade, by almost all of his peers, pundits, critics etc. etc. etc. not just in the moment after a hattrick. HUGE difference between that and the emotional reactionary compliments just after a big performance by the likes of CR7. Credit to him for being able to complete with Pele, but he never ever competed with Messi. Not really. That's not an insult. NO ONE EVER HAS. You literally have to combine Maradona+Cruyff/Zidane PLUS CR7/Eusebio/Müller to get just little old Messi. That alone settles the debate and it's frankly INSANE that anyone could be THAT much better than the rest. A little bit more and I would say GOAT or God? Seriously. WTF!?!?
