So purple gets second place because he has more troops? There is not any benefit for black for "surviving" to the end? How did people even figure this out how this works? Like how do you know purple got second? If it's because he has more troops how do you know it works that way?

There is some calculation between troops and territories... if he has more of both then he definitely gets 2nd

Why would anyone criticize you for taking a lot of time on your turn? I could understand if you sat there thinking in silence, but you think out loud, which in turn explains your thought process and the +/- of various moves. Maybe the critics should read the video comments, as it's rare that someone asks "why did you do this at this point?". This was a fun one to watch! GG, well played!

At 13 min, while ur right that killing pink and taking the 4 and 6 isn't worth it for you, but there is a benefit that it would get purple a bigger trade to help him hold against black... Not saying it's worth but that's something to add into it I think.

2nd is determined by territories left and troops left... at the end they both had 1 territory left but purple had more troops
