Great advice!!!! Tools? Honey, you got them! Absolutely phenomenal!!!! You might be a young new home owner but you have budgeting down to a T. Thanks so much for sharing!!! I used almost all of these tips and your suggestions are dead on. Each person’s necessities differ. You hit gold when you took us to a good sermon teaching the difference being fixed and variable expenses. Not only did you train us on where it’s most lucrative to save, you also help us to identify mismanagement of funds. Ouch! (lol) Let’s be real. We don’t like to acknowledge non-fruitful spending habits. Good rule of thumb for impulse buyers. Question if it’s a need or want. Give yourself a few days to properly evaluate the use or value it will add. IMPORTANT. Be honest!!! As a recovering shopaholic, I could ultimately find a need for anything. So, I had to truly dig deep and really pull out the pencil and paper to perform a real-time analysis. Yeah. Deep. (smirk) However, it was so true and well worth every stroke. If I entered a store. I came out with a bag. Best believe! Now, I’ve learned to not only manage my means appropriately but remove expenses that no longer yield a return. Be it monetary value, self-esteem, self care or routine maintenance. You too will find your balance. Remember, these changes are not permanent and can be adjusted as necessary to accommodate the things important to you as you grow. So don’t give up!!! It could very well take months to master your goals. Be patient with yourself. Emergency situations will arise. Thank God because so will provision. Amen. Amen. Spreadsheets are life 🙌🏼 I use excel I want to go over to google because you can make it cuter but can’t get my head around it. I also use the cash envelope system as if I don’t have the cash on my card I don’t get tap happy with my card 🙈 Good tip is when you come to the end of your phone contract keep the phone and downgrade to sim only can save £20+ a month or Check you’re average data usage to see if your paying for 100gb but only using 20 to decrease your plan.

Oh if you use Excel you can use Google sheets easily! I'm an analyst and use both for work because Google sheets makes it easier to share within the organisation Things are in a few different places but pretty the same standard stuff are the same place like and same keyboard shortcuts Good luck

this was so helpful thank you Lydia!! I spend the most money on travel. I'm a flight attendant and I am blessed to live with my parents right now until I have gathered the money to purchase my own place- such is the plan. So I have found that I spend the most money on traveling when I am out and that can be in the form of hotels, Airbnb, as I love luxury.

Look at stability and long-term employment options. If the company has a high turn over it’s usually because of mismanagement. It maybe the pay verses the responsibilities do not add up. FACT!!! This happen more often than not. It might be that the department management style is unbearable or not necessarily the norm. It might be that the position is JUST THAT, a temporary place of employment. A known place of transition. So ask questions during the interview process. Watch the length or frequency of time a job has been posted. Advertising for employment cost money. Ask if a peer review is available. Don’t be afraid to ask about hours, holidays and time off. Money is a tricky subject but before the interview you should have researched the low, mid, average pay grade for entry, intermediate or professional levels of the proposed work. Maybe even compare ranges to nearby counties and states. Evaluate every angle that is important to you and don’t be fearful of negotiation. Trust, companies will not be timid about what they desire of a potential or hired employee. Do speak up!!! Be proud without being exceptionally loud. The worst case scenario, you find out neither of you are a match or BEST fit. NEXT!!!! No time to waste. Make notes and become proficient in not only the work but also the interview. You are your personal representative. Therefore, portray and/or act as such. Blessings BIG BIG L💞VE - 🌺InspirationByB

Lydia, when you have the opportunity could you verify the previous comment before the highlighted? It was a two part response to Drewsy 2 weeks ago reply. Time displayed was approximately noon ET on Tuesday, August 17, 2021. It posted literally 23 minutes prior to the 2nd part. Yes. It was lengthy as well.(embarrassed face) It advise to consider interning, well-known staffing agencies and college program suggested businesses. Among those were also job fairs and secondary recommendations, etc for employment. It strongly encouraged building valuable skills, taking initiative and remaining focus. Much emphasis placed on proper strengthening and growing a skillset similar to trade, study, minor or major. Lastly, it encouraged being confident, researching salaries for positions of interest and not only being confident in the work but also the interview process. No longer neglecting or being fearful of the negotiation of salary. Many positions offer fill-in roles that could potentially yield openings into additional employment. So look for jobs that permit advancement within departments. It was immensely well written, harmoniously thought out and thoroughly expressed. I was hoping it would really aid in future choices for our internet family members. Blessings BIG BIG L💞VE - 🌺InspirationByB
