There was 4 endings in pinkie pie’s cupcake party. You got the good ending then there’s 3 when you save no ponies, save some of the ponies, and you don’t free the good pinkie pie.

Fun fact: if you find a switch next to the cutie mark of a pony in game then its the one to release them There's a tip for if you play it in the future! (Apples - apple jack, butterflies - fluttershy, rainbow (or cloud idk) - rainbow dash, balloons - pinkie pie, gems - rarity)

The switches near the art like the butterflies are actually hints as to where the levers go. If you know the MLP lore each pony gets a Cutie Mark which basically signifies what they do in life (Fluttershy is great with nature and animals so she has butterflies, Applejack is a farmer so she has apples, rarity loves making outfits and items so she has a jewel) so thats why the butterflies were there it was to show that that specific lever went to fluttershys cage

give you a little -info I guess- so, that one (the second one u helped first try or something) was not Fluttershy, she was applejack. The FIRST one you saved is Fluttershy. I think the signs on the wall are "cutie-marks" and the switch in front on the shelf are the ones you use for that pony. trust me I've watched mlp for 3 years a long time ago. (owner of account's daughter)
