Awww...Sweet father daughter relationship....Teaching her how to be smart with her money & save!!! I started with every time I break a dollar I put the change away. I never give the exact change. Been 2 months & I have $60. Not bad for a start.... Edit: $100 Now!!! Jan. 27th

That's a great way to save money. Im a bartender in Vegas and every time someone gives me loose change for a tip, I take it home and put it in a large jar. At the end of every year I average between $1000-$1500 in loose change! This is the money I use for Christmas presents or I put it toward my next vacation.

I read about this "Saving $5 Bills" idea almost 30 years ago! That's when there wasn't a lot of cash going around. I read a magazine column where people wrote in their good ideas and won a little money if their letter was picked. One woman wrote that her elderly neighbor lady always saved $5 bills. Since she was recently divorced, she decided that it would make a nice new tradition for her and her two teen daughters. They divided the money for the first Christmas. Don't remember how much but it was significant money....even back then. More than she would have saved in the bank. * Nice to see you keeping this good idea going. *Best wishes into 2020.

If you save even $2 a day that's $730. I don't use debt cards, I withdraw money from the amt and save my one dollar bills. Saved $500 in 7 months. I like the $5 challenge.

I'm putting up 270 every two weeks nd 500 each month so I'm doing all of the challenges at once the $70 is the $5 challenge I just rounded it up for 10 days so every time I get paid I can just go ahead and put the $5 challenge in instead of having to put $5 each day and I'm doing the dollar challenge🔐💲

I stopped drinking sodas when I would go out to eat (pre-covid), and I’d make note of what the drink would cost and save that money instead. Within a few months, I had enough to travel outside of the country as I had planned. Cutting out small things and saving the money instead will help save a lot of money.

I was doing the same thing from June 2020 to June 2021. It was supposed to be my spending money during my vacation. There was no vacay this year, so I’m going to keep going. I have $1,300 so far. I think that’s good money that I never even missed while I was saving it. Your daughter is adorable!!!!

- I agree with you whole heartedly about tithing. I take my tithes out before I do anything else. That is so great and you are a great daddy. I'm working the 52 week plan this is my 5th year saving and last yr I started saving in small 60 page note books first book a dollar a page 2nd book 2 dollars a page and so on up to 10 dollars a page 10 books the only thing this yr I added another 52 week plan because I finished every thing by end November last year.
