He was STUNNED, I saved this man from a possible Heart Attack, NOBODY else would help him!
I was driving over to help some folks with an Overgrown Lawn and I seen this Man out with his push mower trying to mow 3ft tall grass in the 90 degree heat. I was concerned he could have a heart attack or collapse so I decided to confront him and offer to help him. I walked up to him and asked him if I could finish it for him for free! He was absolutely stunned at the result, he even offered a gift at the end, I didn’t anticipate this. #wildbadgerpower #lawncare #lawnmower #grassmowing #edger #lawntools #outdoortools

I'm very sorry for your loss. We lived in snow country and I worried about my fella shoveling snow. We moved to a warmer climate and have a small lawn now. We bought a push mower, but it's very strenuous. So we bought a used power mower. We gotta keep an eye on our senior fellas.

You blindsided a person that truly needed help with is property. He would have been out there for days with his push mower for sure! You rocked it and wow, such a lovey job you did for him. He was not only gushing all over with all those thank you and such, but giving you that gas card, that did it and pushed me over the edge tear wise. Well done Eric! That yard would have destroyed that lawn mower. I'm glad that you had the right equipment for the job. Most people are not well equipped to cut a lawn that is so overgrown like this one was. The man that gave you the gas card afterwards is a true gentleman. That was a class move on his part. My Father had a double lot bought in 1957, so not unusual, we cut it with a push mower and lived to tell the story. This man was very kind and does not expect people to do things for free, very hard worker himself, so he gave you a card for the gas you used, very nice of him.

Hi Erik. I am fairly new to your site. I have always believed in paying it forward. I have never had a lot materially, but we can always find a way to help others. I’m an 84 year old woman who has lived in apartments all my life so lawn care has never been an issue 😊. Another great job, Erik! That gentleman was truly grateful for your help. No way was he going to get through that height with a regular lawn mower. You banged that out in nothing flat. Dude! The way you approached that guy was so warm and friendly! Thank you for being an example! If you can, go to a show room and try out some modern electric mowers, edgers, and ride on mowers… so much better than you expect. Cheaper to run, minimal maintenance, so quiet, no fumes.
