if you can find the corolla "squid" intake manifold, it's good for a few extra hp, and you can advance the timing on the distributor by hand

A few years ago a friend of mine had a MK1 Focus and the way we found out whether it has ABS (besides leaving 11's in a Morrisons car park when he decided to test it) was to check the owners manual and find out where the ABS fuse/relay would be, and seeing if it has a fuse/relay where one should be. If it does, it'll have ABS. If it doesn't, then well it won't xD

i've currently got one of these as a project Glanza rep. The solida just means it has central locking, CD player & electric windows whereas like the sportif doesn't have those luxuries. Usually on these the rust lingers around the rear and even though it looks bad, most of it is just surface corrosion. You can just go over it with a wire drill bit then underseal/ paint it like i have. You can take out the rad expansion tank, it's not really relevant to be honest, same with most of the brackets, pretty pointless. I'd like to see you give this car some love, they're so easy to work on.
