I saw them live 2 years ago, honestly they sound great live, normally I expect the quality of a live performance to be decent but no where near studio version. I see stars is up their with Rammstein with the live bands I've seen.

"Murder Mitten" is about the mother, Debra, of the band's lead singer Devin Oliver and his brother, drummer Andrew Oliver. An alcoholic who lost her job because of her drinking, she made life miserable for her family, which fueled their ambition

About 10 years ago I got to be a guest photographer for a BVB/D.R.U.G.S. show for Alternative Press and I See Stars was one of the openers. Looked them up before the show and didnt really get into it. Saw them live and they were the best band on the bill and have been in my Top 5 ever since. Probably the number one band i recommend to people, and love to see they are still getting attention!

From what I remember I see stars was a defining band of their genre. Vocals and drummer i belive are brothers, which you see in those old family footage. I think the song was dedicated to their mother. Running with scissors is so good 👍

Sick bro. I See Stars are here from my area in Michigan. I got to experience a pretty small acoustic show about 4 years ago and it was awesome. Devin's vocals are that good, even live. At that point in time they didn't have Zach (their unclean/scream vocalist) anymore, but it was still cool meeting them and getting the new album signed at the time. Stay lit!!!

New Demons was a such a revolutionary album for its time and for the metalcore. And that's true ISS has never been the same without the screamer. But nonetheless the new path they took in tree house was an amazing one.
