Why is it so difficult for him to understand her anger over him waiting so long before he told her he hit her. Yes he is a coward for leaving the scene of an accident as of calling the ambulance matters. I know exactly how she feels. I was hit by a car five years ago and had to fist her hood so she’d stop and not tear my arm off. She was a nurse and yes, she stayed at the accident scene, yes she called the Police and ambulance but she lied to Police and never asked how I was because her insurance company told her not to. Seeing if you’re alright shouldn’t be discouraged. I sued the driver. She tried to pull a fraud saying I damaged her car which had pre existing damage because she didn’t hit me as hard as she was rolling out of a stop sign instead of totally stopping. Being hit hurts no matter if it’s slow speed. So yes, I understand this lady’s anger. I never got the chance to ever confront the lady who hit me ever again and gave me arm and shoulder damage I’ll live with for the rest of my life. It took two chiropractors to be able to get modest function. I don’t blame this character for being mad at the guy who hit her.

Why she went back to him I’ll never know and if she were deaf she wouldn’t have known what he was playing.

First of all she’s NOT deaf because of the accident. She’s hard of hearing. Big difference. I’m hard of hearing but can still hear. I don’t hear extrememlymmuffled like you show her hearing. I have high frequency deafness. I can’t hear certain sound at cert megahertz like too low or too high like others. In that I am completely deaf. But otherwise I do have hearing. For instance unless amplified I can’t hear a heartbeat. I can however hear birds and dogs and sirens and speech. But certain letters I can’t distinguish so must lipread. I still learned how to play a couple of instruments. I may not be able to tune my guitar by being able to tell all by sound, I can tell by the vibration. I saw a woman who lost her hearing completely and was a singer guitarist. I saw her sing perfectly and play. She came on barefoot so she could hear the vibrations and she did remember what music used to sound like. My point is, don’t confuse being deaf with being hearing impaired with reduced hearing not with complete silence.

Each person identifies how they wish, i was born hearing but had a car accident and broke my neck leading to a now severe to profound hearing loss. I am Deaf not hearing impaired or hard of hearing. Maybe let everyone make their own mind up.

@@pinkdiary349 There IS a difference between deaf and hard of hearing! Totally deaf you can’t hear at all. Hearing impaired is the amount of hearing you DO have. You are NOT deaf! You can still hear but with difficulty. That’s what hearing impaired/hard of hearing is! I tell people I’m not deaf because I’m not. I lip read certain letters because I can’t tell the difference between b’s and v’s and s and f. They sound the same so I lip read those. Being on the phone is difficult with certain sounds. Too low to high I can’t hear at all. That’s called high frequency deafness which I got with repeated ear infections as a kid. I can’t go above or below certain megahertz. It doesn’t mean I’m in total silence which is deaf. Maybe YOU want to be misidentified but I don’t.

Interesting again how she’s teaching British sign language which is different from how one whose been taught American sign. Sign from different countries are as different as spoken languages.

yes, there is a different sign language between Americans and British. French sign language becomes an American sign language in 1800's.

@@williammoore2832 Every country, EVERY country has a different sign language, British sign is different from American sign, French sign is different than say sign language from India. Sign language recognized as a language is as different as spoken language. Thomas Hopkins Gallaudet was born in Philadelphia. HE invented American Sign Language in the 1800’s. It had nothing to do with French Sign Language. Look this guy up in Wikipedia before you start making up things! Sign has different syntax than spoken language. I know, I’ve tried learning a little American sign. I have books on learning American sign. Letters and numbers are easier to learn. I took sign from deaf teachers.

Each country has their own sign language much like spoke language, we cant expect sign to be universal.

@@pinkdiary349 exactly. Just like spoken language. And it’s good that sign language is recognized as a language. I bet before we began talking in our early evolution sign was used.
