I am 68 yrs old and did all my own cooking and baking from scratch. Now I have spinal stenosis and live in continuous pain daily. Preparing a meal has become a nightmare. So i do look for easy meals but try to make them healthy. If i am having a good day i try to make a stew, soup or roast. Something that i can get a couple meals out of. Hubby does not cook at all so he is no help in the kitchen but does help with clean up. Most of the prepackaged food are not so good for us. But sometimes we just have to. So i can appreciate these recipes. Thank you

Thanks for your comments it made me feel less than by myself, I am married to my husband going on 30 yrs(my 1st m didn't last beyond 5 yrs) I literally have lived most of my life in pain since I was 5 yrs old and looking back it was as if I had to wait for the medical field had to catch up, and I don't know how long or far it was until you had your diagnosis ie: The Stenosis and what Specialist you might be being treated but, I will skip ahead tell you what I get for the times that I am locked down with Horrible Spasm Attacks, and it is with the Delta 8/9 CBD Edibles and in the beginning I purchased locally in Tx and it was just CBD , for me it was some time until I came across a Co "The Hemp Dr" and was located in Mooresville , NC. In the beginning I purchased regularly and tried different products and about 6 mos in their Delta 8/9 Edibles were great specifically if you happen to want to give this a go for me due to the progression of my multiple Disabilities have taken my household duties especially cooking you rarely will witness me cooking, so My husband when he gets home from work we'll this is when I eat. And I don't eat a lot or even a regular meal , between he and I we collectively try to buy a few meals that only need to be microwaved. This helps I pray that you are in a good pain management MD practice. Best of luck and God Bless.

Poking the yolks with a fork and moving the whisk in a side to side motion instead of in a circle breaks up the eggs easier. Good ideas though…I’m gonna try some.
@Kim-hu9br23 күн бұрын
Great even for portioning out and freezing for quick breakfasts! I’m all about making my own frozen meals. Always better than pre-packaged ones. These would make great grab-and-heat breakfasts. And I like a solo cup and a fork for “gotta run out the door” breakfasts to eat on the way. Heat in some other container; but pop it in a solo cup and hit the road. Easy to hold and they sit in a cup holder and don’t go flying around the car. Good for French Toast sticks: just pour a little syrup in the bottom of the cup first, maybe with some cinnamon, and fill vertically, then they’re pre-dipped finger food. I do the same with steak fries to go. Maybe with some cheese sprinkled on them. Any ketchup or sauce in the bottom first. Good for a “working in the yard, no time to come in, and I’m covered in dirt anyway” snack. Without sauce, I line the cup with paper towel, so it can have a little flap to keep the food covered, if needs be. **A little tip with the whisk: Use it less like a spoon stirring in circles, instead hold it more at an angle, not quite but almost horizontally, with more circular semi-vertical strokes, go up in rotating strokes rather than around and around. It gets more air into your mix. Go more angular in whisk position and motion, gathering in the edges as you go, and things will mix more quickly and be more fluffy. **And try stabbing each egg yolk with a fork, or even poke ‘em quick as you crack each one with the side of the shell (just watch for bits), then you won’t have to chase them around with the whisk. 😊💕 Also, if you DO get a bit of eggshell in your cracked eggs, use the half of an eggshell to scoop it out. It will draw the chip to it, rather than chasing it with a spoon, which repels it. Just make sure you don’t have any jagged bits on the eggshell half that might also break off, and hold the eggshell half just next to the broken bit sideways, and gently press down. It will suck the chip right into the eggshell half. Way easier than trying to fish it out with a spoon.

Well Molly cute as a bug. I guess I am going to show my 60 years of age. But I have watched your tutorials for a few years now. I don't think I have ever commented. But girl.... You rock. I have learned so much from you. I appreciate you sharing your gift. Thank you so much. You are a true artist... In action and in spirit. Keep it up girl. You are reaching people. Deanna Reeves from Mobile Alabama. I wish some of the artists if your Calabar would come to the Gulf Coast. I don't think you would be disappointed at the outcome. Sincere Salutations. Deanna
