we all saw this coming I know. I also know that I JUST spent a good amount of money on a haircut but after my car accident I'm particularly impulsive because Im convinced I could die at any moment lol
if you want to shave your head, I really recommend it. its a fun way to change up your look and its actually really freeing. hair is different for everyone, and some people have a very positive relationship with their hair, but for me, I felt like it was keeping me back from something (what that is I'm not exactly sure yet). Also, I don't want you to feel weird about enjoying hair/having hair. Your experiences and feelings towards your appearance are valid! The main thing I guess I want to push is that you are more than your body! and express yourself in a way that makes you feel the most comfortable!

Hi a couple things! -IM SO SORRY ABOUT THE BIRDS IN THE BACKGROUND I didn't realize they were being so obnoxious -I will film a makeup tutorial/grwm on the look in the second half soon! and I made a lot of my earrings/thrifted my necklaces. i’ve been thinking about cutting my hair into a hairstyle that is short and considered “masculine” just because i want to try new things, but my mom tried talking me out of it by telling me that guys don’t like girls that don’t have long hair. so now i’m highly considering it after hearing that and watching this ❤️ (update!!: IM GONNA DO IT THIS WEEK 🙈)

As someone who has shaved her head 3 times in my 20 years of life, it’s so freeing not having to use your hair as a way of hiding your facial imperfections and looking at yourself from a whole perspective. Also shout out to your sweet and supportive sisters, I know mine would have slapped my head and called me a bald-ass baby.

I shaved my head a few months into my senior year of high school and it was the best decision I ever made. Not only was it helpful for my gender expression but it also made me feel more beautiful and helped me build up my self confidence since I learned to love myself no matter how I looked. If you are contemplating shaving ur head I highly recommend 😌

I can also relate to not wanting to let your hair have such an impact on how you feel about yourself. I've always let my physical appearance control how I view myself and equated it to how worthy I would be of other people's attention or friendship. i definitely feel you. like i don’t want my hair to define my beauty. there’s so many more aspects to us beyond our physical features that add to our beauty. hair shouldn’t define a women’s femininity. femininity is really a social construct, what views society upholds and believe as ‘feminine’ is what we deem to be the ‘norm’ but fuck it, what even is normal, do you. be your own definition of femininity and if people don’t like, let them be uncomfortable and judge one thing about society and rude people is they’ll adjust and stfu. you look phenomenal and gorgeous and your glowing love you!!! you look like a cute fairy with the green hair/eye makeup and the outfit 🥺🥺. okay i went on a rant 😭

I had shaved my head a couple of months ago and before I did it I was so scared to do it even though I’ve always wanted to cut my hair. But I was feeling like I needed hair to be beautiful but now that I’ve cut all my hair off, I’ve really realized that your beauty doesn’t come from your hair but from all of you in general. So I’m proud that you did it and it looks so good!
