Putting is what separates pros from mortals. It is by far the hardest thing in golf. Half of golf strokes are putts. It is just what golf is about. It is the only way to get your score in the red. It was nice to see that in action. Your game is so dialed in, except for the putting. I have believed what I have said in this comment, but have not ever seen it to the extent in one nine hole video. You can bet I will be upping my practice on the putting green.

Man I really hate to say this, but around 11:45 Tig caught some sand with his club on the backswing. In my opinion, if it’s accidental (and you can tell when it is) that it shouldn’t be a penalty, but unfortunately, if we’re being 100% honest, we gotta add a couple strokes to the young man’s score. It’s a dumb rule, but golf is dumb and that’s why we love it.

I played the fronts when I was trying to break 100. Then I moved back a box to break 90. Im still there when I play solo or with seniors. Best I have shot was a 93. I have been playing for a year and I don’t play as often as I would like to.

Looks like when you hit tee shots with set distances in mind, your accuracy is super good. Its the holes where you try nuke your 3 iron or driver that cost you shots. Great content brother. Keep em coming.

Hand up moment - I haven't liked your content in the past. Not a fan of cocky attitudes, especially when they don't produce results. I felt that vibe from you all along (possibly misinterpreted). Post Myrtle Beach Q round, I feel like it really humbled you (I can empathize because I'm in the same place with my game.). Your content since then has me feeling your push in getting better. Even though you're only 4 posts in on the 30-day content, I am digging the mindset and have thoroughly enjoyed the rounds. Have you ever used a putting mirror? It looks like you push putts sometimes, normally on the longer ones. Also i recently started trying to swing in to out like im trying to draw the ball with my wedges and its really helped me. Something to think about.

Heres a challenge and it will help with your weak point . You have to put 20 balls 12 foot from the hole but placed equally around the hole . Like a around the world challenge . You keep going till you do 20 in a row no misses . It also has to be a hole with some break so its not all just level putts . I personally think it is the most challenging of all challenges . When you get to 15 or so the nerves kick in .

Great series coming tig. You know you're not going to make every 6 foot putt, but you believe you should by the sounds of it. Maybe it's time to read Zen golf? get your mind straight. You got the game, you know it, you just need to find it. You use to swing so carelessly when you had your m2, you trusted your mechanics where as atm you don't seem confindent in shots you need the most. Screw the haters and keep grinding. Going pro or not, you're still able to shoot scores people can only dream of.

Ya I’ve never understood why every golfer does this, they just talk mad shit about them selves after every shot. Like if you do that every shot or almost every shot, then it’s going to lead to negative mind set, there for make think negative and lead to playing worst. Like guys your not playing in PGA event, it’s KZfaq golf, it’s supposed to be for fun. You see guys who are more positive and play a bit more free generally play better, and if you don’t then so what. You aren’t going to please everyone on all your videos, most normal people know you aren’t going to play amazing every round or you would be top ranked PGA player.

Honestly we must be watching different videos. Literally the man in his last few videos is being nothing but positive even when things aren't going well (watch game vs Grant). Here he misses several short putts in a row and you can't expect there to be no regrets whatsoever. If you missed those putts in the same situation I can assure you that you wouldn't be celebrating. What you have to appreciate is that the old Tig would have reacted much worse. There is nothing out of the ordinary in his reactions or words. That said, we would all be better off if instead of hating for the sake of hating we would appreciate the changes a person is making or trying to make. Instead of putting a label on them that will last forever even though things have changed.

love your stuff. I think you are in the top teir of youtube golfers. If i could throw one thing out there to help with the new easy going mindset... you use "I" and "me" alot. @5:00 should have putted it. Chip it in a scramble or gamble game but if you are scoring that’s a putt. At worst you have a birdie. I had to learn those the hard way 🤣

Tips on putting and chipping Take longer swings/strokes. It will flow more and prevent the short choppy inconsistency with chips When putting you push the putter head to the right every time Focus on closing the face post contact. I.e follow through

Hey Micah, i hate to mention that you're repairing your divot on the green incorrectly, you should never insert divot tool & push upwards. Insert & push forward around a circle this protects the roots in the green & won't cause spots on the greens

My putting was going down hill so I changed my grip from super stroke to the new golf pride grip, in my last round I had 26 putts so it worked for me 👍.

Micah have you been fit for a putter? I've been noticing on a few videos that you can hear your skid on the camera so much. I really notice because i was hitting down with a blade myself and it really frustrated me because it can really kick off your start line. I didn't know everyone has skid, apparently it's just about how much skid you have 🤷‍♂️

An oversized grip on a putter makes me exaggerate a push or a pull a lot more then a standard size grip. Tig, try practicing with a smaller size grip. I think your putting was a bit more accurate.

Have a little think about this, make percentage from 6 feet on tour is under 70% so no way should you be repeatedly downtalking yourself for the result of missing them. Maybe in terms of margin or miss or parts of the execution of those putts but not the result

I don’t know about that toe hang on the flat blade , in golf school they taught us that natural faders of the golf ball should use face balanced mallet putters, something like the spyder tour with the curved bend! Good luck sir
