I Should Be So Lucky The Musical ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
In this vlog I go to see I Should Be So Lucky The Musical which is making its world premiere at the Manchester Opera House. I went to a Tuesday evening performance which started at 7.30pm. I was sat in the Stalls for this show on row J seat 23 and I paid £30 for my ticket. The view from this seat was excellent with good leg room and I would definitely sit there again.

I have seen it and thought was a big let down. The story poor was very poor and she soons runs off to Turkey to find a new man instantly. Kylie appearing in the mirror only attraction. But what shocked me was the age group the pensioners dancing to rick astley and about throw there knickers off to listen to his songs. Very cheesey and unbelievable coming from a dire hard Kylie fan.

Yeh being a massive lifelong Kylie fan myself I feel like I SHOULD go and see it but the more I see of it just fills me with dread lol. The newest trailer makes it look absolutely awful, a mamma Mia rip off aimed at the same housewives audience as that! I’m a huge musical theatre goer too but I think seeing this will just make me angry! 😂

@@dannycartwright5632 and that hot air balloon was waiting for big gob Sonia to appear saying she is a Scouser ya know... problem is low budget, too much pantomime, and the grannies in the audience thinking Rick Astley is best since sliced bread just ruined it for me.

@@dannycartwright5632 - yep give this one a wide swerve if you like musicals, it may just put you off for life 🤭SAW are incredible songwriters and this is such a wasted opportunity.

you being a die hard kylie fan was the problem here…you went expecting it to be all about her and when it wasn’t you were disappointed. you need to appreciate the cast and company for who they are realise you weren’t going to a kylie concert, you were going to a musical.

Honestly it felt like the granny show.... the number of women in there 60s standing up to rick astleys never going to give you up to more or least throw there knickers on stage was shocking.... but I just felt the story line was poor and in parts didn't make sense. The songs I felt didn't run in any order of relevance. Just felt it was very childish the story and a better plot and story was needed.
