The staller mutate was actually a mutate that makes you win only half of the points. If you check, Cartoonz got 0.5 while Squirrel got 0, Delirious got 1 and Rilla got 2.5.

the game is quite confusion but the goal is pretty simple, the more soul you have at timer end the better. other than that, everybody will be shot once at the start of the game, then the person possessing the most souls will always be targeted. the main strategy seems like stay away from the souls until the last few seconds, then start a mad dash for it.
