I purchased a tote in a beautiful blue color but the blue bleeds all over everything including my closet walls. I’ve reached out to them about possible ways to help accelerate the dye bleed, but I didn’t really get anything useful. It’s really too bad because the tote is beautiful otherwise. I just don’t use it. I know what you mean about the scratches. I’m not sure I could handle it either. I think you’re making the right choice.

Good morning April. I do like the coin purse, the envelope style, wish they would do a small clutch purse. The green leather does not look good with the white stitching, as it cheapens the look. Send it back and buy the pretty shade of green in a bag with better quality leather and stitching.

I purchased the Classic Strap to use on a purse I really preferred to use as a crossbody in Natural. so I figured I LOVED it so much I purchased 3 Herringbone Straps in black, navy and honey (I may be incorrect on the color). I use them on my other handbags and I’ve had so many compliments. I purchased the backpack in nutmeg and love it. I’ve also purchased a few of their SLG’s: 2 PLG Card Holders in Honey, Eclipse in Deep Water, Sidekick Pouch, Makeup Bag (my daughter loved it so I gave it to her Friday for her birthday). I just received the Rainstorm Zipper in Deep Water; beautiful! I’ve added so many pieces these are just a few. Thank you for telling me about Portland Leather.

I have a Dakota bag and I have a succulent bag and for me the Dakota wore badly after several months of sporadic use. Mostly the leather got bald and absorbed color in addition to all the scuffs. After this experience I swore off of anything Dakota. Haven't had those issues with the succulent.

I picked up a Medium Tote in Bacalar sheerly out of FOMO and looooooooooove it! I already snagged the Poppy in the Bacalar colorway. Such a smooshy great leather. I've been intrigued with the Devan Bucket Bag; have you considered that one yet?

Hey Autumn! I have the new Devan tote in Dragon Bone arriving tomorrow! Looking forward to seeing what I think of it. I realize after watching your video that I didn’t bother to check the type of leather!🤦‍♀️😂 Hope I like it.🤞 Can you return in-store? Winnie would love that tiny bag for her Christmas tree. 💚🎄 Since you are returning a couple items, could you still return the other green slg you received earlier that you don’t like? I’ve not bought from PLG, yet. I’ve been tempted many times when you first started buying from them. Maybe one day I’ll get something from them when I’m in Portland to see all the colors in person since online color images are not accurate.

Thanks for that tip. We don't go into Portland very often, though. Not avoiding it, just don't need to. I'm surprised how few times we've been up there, actually. Need to explore it more.
